Reporters Without Borders (RSF) organizes and/or is a partner in events such as international days, award ceremonies and festivals that honour and pay tribute to journalists for their constant efforts to provide freely-reported, independent and quality news coverage and for their defence of media freedom worldwide.

These events also allow RSF to highlight its day-to-day activities and to draw the international community’s attention to the plight of journalists who are imprisoned or who have had to flee their country.
