Hot Cocoa with Marshmellows...YES!

Hello there friends!  Just sharing this sweet little tag that I made using this

 month's Unity KOTM, called "When You Smile"!

I love cocoa and marshmellows, so I thought it would might be fun to use of some of my

recent Target findings (paper, gold glitter, and the twine) with the little cocoa mug!

I also added some other elements like paint corrugated paper, pine dies, 

lace, glittery canvas flower, and some ephemera.  It's always fun to grab a bunch of different

types of elements to a project, to see what you come up with at the end!

Since it's Winter-time, I choose to use that beautiful red & black plaid background paper, along

 with the black & white paper (I'm thinking those might be little bits of snowflakes, or so I made them to be).  Felt like a drink I'd love to have while sitting in the cabin with my family, while playing 

some board games, so that's kind of what inspired this little project!

Will you be Mine is just one of the latest Unity mini kits that I've colored in to share with you today!

She is such a sweetie, and I colored her in with Copics  and added Wink of Stella 

to her shirt's stripes an skirt!!  Now she is all sparkly like her balloon.

Happy New Year...Be Amazing!

Happy New Year! Today, I am sharing my project on the Unity blog, so

I thought I'd share it here as well!

Using the Poppy Girl stamp kit, I pulled inspiration from this Pinterest board below,

to create my Slats Clip Decorative Frame.  

I thought it would be a fun and creative way to showcase this

beautiful stamp set, and to highlight the message.

This would make for a sweet gift to give to your friend, or may just to place this

decorative piece on your crafty desk.  Hope this inspires you to create a 

home decor piece by using Pinterest as a source of inspiration!

Hoppin' with Unity...

Welcome to this month's Unity Hop!  Hope you like a few new projects

I made this month!  This first month is one of the newest sets recently released,

and it is called "New Magic"!

She's been colored with Copics, and there's bits of Wink of Stella on her

wings as well as the butterfly!  I added a little lace doily and some handmade

flowers I made using some of my Lindy Magicals and Spray as well as some tiny

beads to the centers, and distress ink mix to the leaves.

Next up, I am sharing a watercolor card that I made using my distress markers!

I added a shiny bling, little paperclip and watercolored doilies to add to the

softness I was going for in this project...

The image is from the October - Holiday Hugs KOTM.  Make sure

you sign up by the end of December to be locked into this $26 rate, 'cause

come the beginning of the year, the price will be going up!  But, it is

so worth it, and I am so happy that Unity was able to keep this pricing

for those who want to lock in this year!!

The fun sentiment is from another older kit, but still one of my favorite

kits (and it's on sale for a great price, right now)!
