As Americans and Reform Jews, we are committed to the protection of the orphan, the widow, and the stranger. We strongly urge members of Congress to support any serious effort to combat antisemitism and champion a strong U.S.-Israel relationship that fosters democracy in and security for the Jewish state and demands the rights, well-being, and national aspirations of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the West Bank are upheld.
At the same time, members of Congress should firmly oppose any further efforts to eviscerate reproductive rights, to target the safety and rights of the LGBTQ+ community, to harm communities of Color, or to undermine the health of our air, water, and land. Members of Congress must join in defense of the security of immigrants and the right to claim asylum. Members of Congress should vehemently oppose the weaponization of political power against individuals and institutions that are core to our democracy, including the courts and the press. And above all, members of Congress must work to end the repeated demeaning of women, the use of hateful language against those who hold different views, and the persistent coarsening of our political culture.
We are all made more whole when we treat others with the respect every human being deserves. We urge members of Congress to help heal the wounds our nation bears by protecting democracy, justice, and the rule of law.

By submitting this form, you are agreeing to receive emails from the RAC and URJ. You can manage your preferences at any time.
Most elected officials with online contact forms require a prefix to submit a message, so this requirement is part of the VoterVoice platform. For most offices, you may submit any prefix or title up to 30 characters (including gendered, professional, religious, and non-binary prefixes), but a small number of offices only accept certain prefixes. Learn more about this requirement, which is not controlled by the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism.
A small number of Capitol Hill offices impose a strict character limit for incoming constituent emails. If you receive an error notification that your message is too long or cannot be sent, please manually shorten the message. This character limit is not controlled by the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism or the VoterVoice platform.
