Ah, two very talented writers! I haven't read those particular books, but I did really enjoy Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff and The Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley by Hannah Tinti.

Those are two books that I've been meaning to read. The first chapter of The Idiot was excerpted in the New Yorker, and it captivated me.

I'm not familiar with the first book (I'll look it up!) but I love Animal Farm. Also, I think there's something interesting about reading a book that's very different from the one you just finished — it can bring out aspects of each book that you wouldn't have ordinarily seen.
