What is Prizmah?
The mission of Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools is to transform the North American Jewish day school landscape. Our pioneering approach provides day schools with tools to foster the educational excellence, financial vitality, and community support that will make day school education the first choice for Jewish families.
Who Should Register for an Account?
Anyone who wants to participate in the Prizmah conversation by commenting on a HaYidion article or blog post needs to be a registered user to do so.
Professionals and lay leaders who are affiliated with a Prizmah Network school are welcome to create accounts in order to access member-only tools and content such as the searchable Prizmah Network member directory or the Reshet networking platforms.
How Do I Register for an Account?
To register a new account, click on "" in the upper right corner of the homepage. You will be prompted to choose a username and enter your full name, professional email address and school information. When you click submit, a verification email will be sent to the email address provided.
Once registered, approved site users will be able to comment on website articles and if affiliated with a Prizmah Network school will be able to join an appropriate Reshet or access the Prizmah member search to find colleagues at other schools.
How Do I Get A New Password?
If you forget your password, you can request a new one by clicking on Signin in the upper right corner of the homepage, and then clicking "Request new password". The system will ask you to enter your username or the email address associated with your user account. You will then receive an email with a one-time login link that will get you into the site and to a page that will allow you to create a new password.
How can I unsubscribe from a Reshet?
To unsubscribe from a Reshet, please login to your User Account.
From Login -> My Reshet -> Settings -> Check Leave Reshet, scroll down to Save
Once logged in, if you choose to leave a Reshet, you can do so by clicking on My Reshet in the middle top of the of the page. Then click Settings in the left hand menu and find the Reshet you want to leave. Check “Leave Reshet Group” and click save, and you’re done. Please note that once you leave a Reshet, you will no longer be able to post a query or receive emails from the group.
Thank you for logging in to your Prizmah User Account. Once logged in you can comment on articles or blog posts, access the member search, and if you are a member of a Prizmah Reshet, you can participate in discussion threads or access resources.
How Do I Change My Email Address, Username, Password Or Picture?
Login -> Edit My Account
You can manage your account by clicking on “Edit my account” after you log in. Here you can change your username, password, email address and upload a picture.
Please note that changing your email address in this account will change the address to which you receive Reshet notifications and from which you are able to send Reshet emails.
How Can I Find And Connect With Other Members?
Login -> Member Search -> Select pulldowns -> Click Search -> See results
One of the benefits of Prizmah membership is the ability to find colleagues at other school. If you are associated with a Prizmah Network school, you can access the “Member Search” function to find and connect with other Prizmah members. On the Member Search page, you can search by name, by role, location, grade levels and/or name and size of school.
Once you have located the person you are looking for, you can click on their name to access their Member to Member profile and contact information.
Please note that only professionals employed by member schools will appear in the member search. Lay leaders can use the search function and their school information will appear on their Member to Member Profile, accessible through their Reshet Membership profile. Personal information about lay leaders will not be available through the member search tool.
Please note: If you are not associated with a Prizmah Network school you will not be able to access the Member Search. If you think there has been an error in our records, please email Amy Wasser to let us know.
How Do I Join A Reshet?
Login -> Prizmah Network -.> Reshet Groups -> Choose a badge -> Add comment -> Click to join
Once you’ve logged in, you can ask to join a new Reshet!
To join a new Reshet, click on “Prizmah Network" on the blue navigation bar on top of the page and then choose "Reshet Groups" on the sub-menu. On this page you can read about the various Reshet groups. Click on a badge to request to join that Reshet.
Once you have entered your submitted your request, an email will be sent to the Reshet moderator for approval.When you’ve been approved, you’ll receive an email notifying you that you’ve been approved.
Reshet Groups that Reshet membership may be limited by a user’s role or job position in a school.
How Do I Access Reshet Groups To Which I Already Belong?
To see activity or participate in the Reshet groups in which you are already a member, you can click on “My Reshet” in the center of the screen on the top of the page in the pink navigation bar. This will take you to your personalized main Reshet page from which you can start or reply to a conversation thread, see group members or access the archives or resources for any group to which you belong.
How Do I Leave A Reshet?
From Login -> My Reshet -> Settings -> Check Leave Reshet, scroll down to Save

Check “Leave Reshet Group” and click save, and you’re done. Please note that once you leave a Reshet, you will no longer be able to post a query or receive emails from the group.
How Can I Change My Email Notification Preferences?
Login -> My Reshet -> Settings. Select your choice from a select list to show choices. -> Save
You can control how often you get notified of new articles or comments in the Reshet. You can choose email every time, a digest of email, or no email at all if you only want to participate through the website.
To change your preferences, click “My Reshet” then “Settings,” find the Reshet you wish to manage, and select your preference from the drop-down list. Then click save and you’re done!
