If you play Middle Earth Shadow of War and you pay close attention to the events, you'll notice a co-op called the maiars. The description reads "team up with 3 of your fellowship members to defeat the maiars in this limited time co-op multiplayer event". If you're like me and not in a fellowship, you can still participate. When you enter the arena, there are 3 options: create a fellowship match, create a public match, and join a public match. Anyone can join a public match. One of the things I enjoy about this game is that it doesn't really force group us. Even the fellowship events have corresponding events that don't require you to be in a fellowship to participate and gain rewards.
