Well when the sky gives you smoke, you smoke it? I dunno but I am loving the flavour of all this meat lately, very ashy/burnty... Anyway this normally would have been a pretty boring sunset, and while we don't want the entirety of our forests to burn just for a good sunset, this has given me a great idea for the 100 fog machines I just ordered on Amazon...

Ahh yes, Wine country. Well ONE of the Canadian versions anyway, turns out there are a lot now. ANYWAY (again) I have successfully pulled myself off of the beach to return to the flat lands of Alberta, although I will admit, it is hard getting this sand out of my hair... Until next time K-Town. A peaceful morning at Buntzen Lake & Eagle Mountain. I've done two of the trails in this area in the past month with a hiking club. I enjoyed each hike and the scenery! This area can get super busy on a warm spring or summer day, so it's good to come early.

Well fortunately for myself there is a road straight up to this lookout, so I took full advantage of it. I truly bring a whole new definition to the term 'road warrior' as in, I only take photos I can drive to. And if you try to get me to walk, hike, bike, or some other form of non motorized transport you are going to have a war on your hands...
