Christmas Margarita
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!
Christmas Margarita with Polish Krupnik and Tequila. Because a margarita is no margarita if it ain't got Tequila! A festive margarita with all the aroma of Christmas!
The story: When I made Krupnik, the Polish Spiced Vodka and Honey Liqueur last month, I just knew I wanted to use it in the Christmas Margarita that'd been playing in my head for a while. Krupnik has the citrusy, spicy aroma one associates with Christmas, as it has cinnamon, allspice and citrus fruits. Just the sort of flavour I was aiming for.
Krupnik is very quick to make, just wants overnight steeping, so go get some vodka and honey and get it done today or sometime during this holiday period! Then make the Christmas Margarita - 2 drinks for the price of one! You'll find the krupnik recipe on my blog.

Ingredients
60ml (2 fl oz/4 Tbsp) tequila
30ml (1 oz/2 Tbsp) krupnik
30ml (1 oz/2 Tbsp) orange juice
15ml (1/2 oz/1 Tbsp) honey
some fine salt
sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
1. Mix the vodka, krupnik, orange juice and honey together and set aside. Taste it. Add more honey if you like your margaritas sweet like I do. You might even want to double up on the krupnik, taste as you go.
2. Mix the cinnamon and salt in a saucer.
3. Lightly wet the rim of your cocktail glass and coat the rim with the salt and cinnamon.
4. Pour the prepared drink into the glass and enjoy.
