A lot of people on Google+ seem to like the Sherlock Holmes TV series starring Benedict Cumberbatch, and that's great. I've got nothing against that series (how can I, when I know so little about it?) But when I personally think of "Sherlock Holmes", this is the series that comes to mind (unless of course I think of the books first).

Most people probably consider this series outdated, and prefer the newer adaptions of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's beloved classic; nevertheless, I would like to share, for the few people out there who might be interested, my favorite TV series of all time. That's what this collection is for: I'll be posting episodes of the 1954 Sherlock Holmes series, probably on a weekly basis. I'll try to keep them all in order (first episode 1, then 2, then 3, etc.), but I can't promise I'll be able to find them all... so I guess it might get a little mixed up.
