Jedidiah Steele: +James M I already checked it out the other day. It's immersive but it's not vibrant. Not as good as the s8+ display.
I haven't seen the v30.

All in all it's a decent device but I'm not impressed with it. I honestly like the Nexus 6 more and would choose the Nexus 6 over it despite it being a 2014 device.

Jedidiah Steele: +James M Google kinda missed the mark on the xl2.
Camera is dope af and it is nice to have front firing speakers in this day and age when no one is doing that but overall the device is kind of a dud in my eyes.

James M: +Jedidiah Steele Whenever you get to a Verizon store and look at the Pixle 2 XL screen a give me your opinion of the display because I swear to God it is dull just like the Nexus 6 was. Also, the LG V30 display was the same way.

Yusuf Islam: +Jedidiah Steele lol true but the way the G series has been going it's been bad. Their V series was all about testing a beast until they got the right one and the V30 is that. Just trying to wonder what the V40 is going to be. I've ordered a Pixel 2 XL anyways.

Burak Bağdatlı: +Jedidiah Steele I'm not sure if the 2-year cycle is correct anymore. I have many friends who've been with their devices for 3+ years and not looking for an upgrade yet. Last switch I did was after 3 years, and I wasn't going to do it but a hardware issue forced my hand.

Jedidiah Steele: +Raptor Swire standard consumer makes a new phone purchase once every 2 years.

Fans of a particular brand can tend to buy one a year, upgrading with every flagship.

Updating twice a year or more so is very uncommon but not unheard of haha.
You're welcome to buy as many as you want of course.

Angus Grayling: Moved mine to the bathroom. The only time I need it is when I'm in the shower and can't use my phone. Works great for playing/controlling music 😁

Zain Ajam: I have android tv with Chromecast built-in in my bedroom, guest room and living room. I have Chromecast audio on my ground floor passage way speaker, on my top floor study speaker. I plan on getting 5 Google home mini for my bedroom, guest room, living room, kitchen and study.
