Almost a 5 Really love the app, I use it to track work shifts, assignments, and more. I use the smallest widget on my home screen and the only downside is its a little too easy to accidentally check off something. It would be great if I could disable the widget's check box so I have to open the app. Or if there was a confirmation pop up. Again, thanks for this great app, it really helps me out.

Sync Issue Well constructed app, also nice job on update. Very CLEAN interface with no clutter and plenty of features while still keeping it intuitive. It's these points that makes a app 5 Stars. EDIT 12/22/16: Agree with other users that sync between devices not working. Hopefully gets fixed soon, been like this for around a month now.

Long Time User I have been using this app for many years as a convenient solution to have my lists available on my phone and PC. However the addition of Google Keep, the exit ads, and the cost of the professional version make this app much less appealing as a solution to sync tasks on multiple platforms while staying within the Google ecosystem. If I was a heavier user of the service I would have upgraded to pro years ago but now I am more likely to switch to Keep than upgrade. Good App though.
Absolutely love this app. I does a great job of syncing and managing Google Calender tasks (way better and beyond what Google Calendar or Tasks normally allows you to do). If premium was $1.99 I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Sadly, $4.99 is a bit too steep.

Does not sync correctly Been using for several years This is just what I want, except now it never seems to sync correctly, despite my having bought the upgrade. Works OK on a single device, just gets the sync screwed up between devices, but this, correct, it what I need. Thus, it cannot be relied on for serious work. Having to check if the sync is working make no sense.

Works, has 2 problems GTasks works, but has two problems. The small problem is that it doesn't show the year a task is due, if it's in the future. I have a task to renew my driver's license in March 2019, and it only tells me it's due in March. The big problem is that it only will sync with Google once per execution. The second attempted sync runs forever until I go into Settings, stop GTask, & restart it. Then I get one more successful sync, and then have do the stop/start/sync sequence again.

Useful app but the ads just make it too annoying to use. Ads have become so tacky and obtrusive! For this app there are full screen ads that you must tap to dismiss. Pass! I like being able to sync my task but not so much that I want to be bombarded with ads.
Great Been using for years. Recently one of my longer lists I noticed the last couple lines disappeared and I can not get them back. If this bug could be fixed i would greatly appreciate it! My short lists are fine but the long lists that I made that had to be scrolled sometimes that last ones just disappear leaving lines of info gone and sometimes even half of words gone.
Decent functionality even if some things are a little awkward but the ad integration makes it painful to use. Doesn't even let you quit the app, jyst pops up another ad instead. If it was just a simple banner ad like most apps I'd have paid to get rid of it but not going to reward this behavior.
I've used this app for years, but the developer seems to be trying to force users to another of their todo apps, one that has in-app purchases. The latest thing to make it worse is a custom pop-up for notifications - if you don't use it exactly right all your notifications disappear and you have to hunt them down one by one. The one before that was changing the way time was set to a UI that's slower to use. Now the number of ads has skyrocketed. All in all, it was great, it's now probably below average.
Does its job Incredibly useful, one of the apps I've been using since I've had a smartphone. Simplistic, yes. Annoying ads, once in a while. However, it does its job: a cross-platform text notes app. Feature suggestion: a task recycle bin, to allow the recovery of mistakenly deleted tasks.
Great, but recently it's stopped reminding me! Please help me figure out what the problem is, I love this app. And gladly paid for it, years ago. UPDATE: I cleared local data and reinstalled, it seems to have gotten over the failed reminders problem for now.
Great but the ads are intrusive. This app has been great until recently. While the core functions are still there the way where the place the ads are sorta annoying especially the big pop up one. Why would you put ads everywhere even if your trying to earn from ad revenue? Come on place your ads properly not just blast it around
Drag & Drop?? The description for the app says you can drag and drop tasks ("8. Re-arrange your tasks easily by dragging & dropping"), but I cant... even though I purchased the "Premium". Disappointed.
Too many adds Until recently, it was a good app but now it is horrible. They changed it to show an ad every time a reminder pops up. Horrible, don't download it. Use reminders in the Google app. No ads.
Good but Easy to use and very effective. The only problem is that occasionally on restart the widget will crash and all the widget options don't appear in the widget drawer. The only way I've found to fix it is to reinstall.
This app works flawlessly until it doesn't, which is sadly quite often. Sometimes it syncs on open/close, sometimes not. Sometimes it goes a week without syncing. Sometimes if finally syncs and erases gtasks saved on my PC calendar. Great idea, not very stable... Update: tried this app again and it's worse. Sync works sporadically; when changes aren't synced and I refresh my calendar all changes made in the app disappear. Very frustrating, will have to go back to another gtasks app.

Would you please try our latest beta version? We have tried to stabilize synchronization in this version. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dsaa6avi57pgc0m/gtask_2040_beta.apk Dodgy "Premium" Feature Not Premium Cursor not visible when using dark theme. That said, dark theme options are default in modern apps; not a premium feature.
Spotty integration with Google (downgrade) This used to be an excellent way to integrate with Google Tasks, however, it seems to fall easily out of sync and never get back with recent versions. Standalone, this app is great.
This was my go to app, depended on it tremendously. Now it does not sync and it is unusable. Hope they fix the sync issues.Anyone find another app that syncs to google tasks?
Widgets not working Overall great app except for the widgets. Most of the time the widgets are blank. I managed to get the 4x2 widget to display my tasks but it never seems to update the displayed list.
Took it down from 5... Widget is usually blank! Until I enter, then exit app... The rest is great! Been using it for years, no match in simplicity!
DON'T LOAD won't sync. Used to work great now it won't sync with itself on other platforms. Check out forums on this - full of complaints no response whatsoever from Google.
Used to be great Constant sync problems even after uninstall and reinstall. Disconnecting account, clearing cache, force stopping don't solve the problem.

Stopped Syncing Used it for several years, then got a new phone and it stopped syncing with my Gmail tasks. Reached out to developers and got no response. Good luck with getting any help if you have any problems or issues.
One deal breaker For the love of sanity, please remove the permanently present "no tasks today" notification, which one cannot disable. The app was wonderful before it became unnecessarily intrusive.
Too many large adds. Was very good, but recently they added annoying large ads. Several times per entry!!!
Your chance ! To the developer: You should make a Xmas sale for the premium key for 99 cent. I'm sure many people will buy;!!

My Go-to Task App Until... I discovered today that Gtasks doesn't work on my new Chromebook. Too bad. Looking for an alternative app.

Love the 7-day Agenda! Just a lovely app. I used it back when I just was jotting notes and to-dos into it, and it's gotten even more useful now that I've incorporated my workflow into it. The page that shows what's due today, tomorrow, etc is a great life arranger. I reach for my phone now, even when Google tasks is open on my computer in front of me!
Hello, I have some question? 1. why in complete daily tasks it just move it to the next day. NOT create new task for tomorrow and save the completed task for reference? 2. why i can't see the tasks on the Gmail Calendar?
What's happened? It used to be good but now it seems you have to open the app to see reminders, which kind of defies the point.

Can't edit entry if all numbers. If you only enter numbers, it turns it into a link that you can't go back and edit later. Weird.
Sync w/Google stopped working Has synced with Google fine for years, now not working.
For the past few weeks til now, all my reminders never appear on my phone's notification bar and this had made me missed out many important matters ! Really Suck !!!
