It connects randomly. It stinks. Sometimes it will perfectly connect and then it just decides not to. (We uploaded it onto 3 completely different smartphones - so not a phone issue). And nothing works - manually setting IP, resetting WiFi - NOTHING. Sometimes if you uninstall it and reinstall it, it will connect again for a day or two. So based on the fact that it works when it feels like it and not when you want to play, I'd say it stinks.

Really neat because I don't have a kinnect, so It's a good alternative. I have one suggestion. It would be nice if the sound of the song could come through the app as well. That way I wouldnt need to hold my phone in one hand and the console controller in the other when I can't turn up my TV volume.

Absolutely terrible, my phone and ps4 are on the same wifi network. And we tried some of the troubleshooting mentioned in the comments and still nothing.This app is inconsistent, it worked at first and now it doesn't even work with manually inputting the IP address. I am very unsatisfied 😡

App will not connect with my console. Just brought just dance gold and has literally stayed up all night troubleshooting. I reset my modem and router and also hooked my ps4 directly to my router i manually entered ip address nothing is working and frustration is a complete under statement at this time!!!

DISABLE THE PHOTOBOOTH WHILE DANCING! I love that you can use this app as a controller for free, but I wish there was a way to DISABLE THE PHOTOBOOTH WHILE DANCING! I always accidently click it when dancing locally or online, and it affects my score! It is really irritating to unintentionally click the photobooth, resulting in horrible scores.

TERRIBLE CONTROLS AND SCORES! I have very stupid Wii Remotes with very stupid ways, but they WAY better than this lame thing! I'll admit that the photobooth is fun, but the controls and scores SUCK!!!

I think that the game is OKAY but there are a lot more songs they could have had. As for the controls, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! I used my phone and it would barely work. Maybe using a camera of the actual controller works better but I would NEVER recommend using your phone. I have a PS4 but it doesn't work to well with all the movements

I love this app. I don't have to buy the kinect to play my game. My only complaint is the camera button. Please please please move the camera button. We always hit it accidentally while playing and it causes the moves not to register. This happens constantly and it's very annoying. Other than that I love it. Thank you for the app!

The app worked really well the first time I launched it with the game I had just bought and downloaded. Without changing anything to my pc, my phone, or the Wifi, the next day, it wasn't connecting the two anymore. I did everything the help suggested : checking if it's the same Wifi, if the phone isn't one airplane mode or else, lauching the app at different times to try every possibilities, restarting the app and the game, restarting my internet connexion and the Wifi, deleting and installing the game and the app again... I'm out of options and I would really much hope that i didn't buy the game only not to be able to play because of a technical issue... Please, is there a way to fix this? I see I'm not the only one with the same problem, we would really like a fix on this. We paid for the game, make the app work, please and thank you! (phone Samsung with recent Android (it worked for a few hours the first day so it's even more frustrating!))

Hello Eminent. Please make sure that both your phone and Xbox are on the same wifi device. If they are and you're still experiencing connection issues, please make sure that you're launching the app only after you've selected your phone as a controller for the game. You can also try refreshing the detection by pressing the Refresh button on the app

After new update the app refused to connect. Luckily restarting the phone and router fixed the issue, as one of the other users suggested. I feel like this should be something the support team should've suggested as so many people are having this issue.

Ok ok. So it overall is a good app. It really is awesome we can play just dance with phones. But I have this repetitive annoying problem where the phone disconnects but doesn't alert me until seconds later and it can be really inconvenient when there is a gold move and it disconnects! And I wish there can be an option where we can set it to either we can use our phones or controllers to navigate menus because I use my controller always and my phone responds to everything i do, like if I go up a menu the phone does too. Overall, I give it a 3/5. It's a ok substitute opposed to a kinect or PlayStation move. Ubisoft please improve the just dance 2015 motion thing because I never get above 3 stars in just dance 2015. Thanks.

This App does not work. I only bought the game wgeb I found out I could use the app as a controller as I couldn't afford the wand. Now I have have a game that is completely useless to me because the App does not work. And yes the phone and the console are on the same network!

Phone will not connect to my Xbox. Was working before but then stopped working even though my friends phone would connect but couldn't get anyone else's phone to connect. Even before i had to reset the motom and my phone to get it to connect. Please fix asap. Or inform me of how to fix the issue.

Hated It. I'd give it 0 stars but 1 is the minimized value. This app and the other app: Just Dance Now, theyre both horrible. Connection problems, left to right, and there's simply no videos on thw just dance channel that helps you fix the problems. I'm shocked that you dont do anything or try to help us even though its such a very-common problem.

App works but needs some fixes, you should remove the "photobooth" button while we dance because i accidentally press it and dont get scored, WHY DO WE NEED A UPLAY TO EDIT OUR CARD WHICH IN CONTROLLER MODE YOU DONT NEED ONE(im a wiiU player), you should also add sleep lock because it goes to sleep in the middle of a song.

The connection keeps disabling. It won't stay connected for over a minute. Very frustrating. And yes the ps4 and my Samsung galaxy s6 are sharing the same network!

Why i cant connect to my PC? Even my firewall and antivirus disabled, it still the same. I connect it to same wifi. My phone is lenovo vibe p1 turbo with android marshmellow, i just buy this game. Hope i dont waste my money on this

As stated before worked for awhile then suddenly insists I'm not on the same Wi-Fi. Before I get the lame troubleshoot reply allow me to point out I have done the thing that is suggested to others. I also uninstalled and reinstalled. Hard reset xbox as well as phone. This is an issue with the app not with my network.

This app is good, it's definitely saved having to buy more expensive Xbox kit. It's not perfect though. Please, please give an option to disable the photo booth while dancing - it is very intrusive and hasn't once yet been useful. Secondly, for those having connection problems, my advice is to NEVER open the app unless your console is looking for the phone signal, and always disconnect the controller AND turn off the app before you switch off the game.

You can only use the app for the actual game that you buy, its not compatable with the demo version of the game, even though the demo version of the game directs you to download this app as if it is compatible... but its not

The phone wont connect to the game. Using the same wifi for both and even did some of the stuff recommended like selecting the ohone on the game before using the app. DONT DOWNLOAD ITS A WASTE OF TIME.

I paid $50 for the PC digital version of just Dance limited by songs and period of time. Used this controller to play.... It is very slow. It is a lot of issues with pc application. I have new $3000 Dell i7 laptop with windows 10, 64 bit and a lot RAM.... But this application is very slow. Required to restart after i open and close it. Not support for touch screen of monitor, failed to redirect audio output to new LG TV Audio. All applications like youtube i can hear on LG TV connected using HDMI...But this one is not start when i select to work with this type of Audio.it worked with TV blootuth instead. Disconnects a lot.... The quolity of detection of moving is not good enougph.... So, if it is totally free, then it is plus minus... But i do not recommend to pay $50 for limited version full of bugs, limitations ( you eve can not save your sond to Favorite- the button appear, but not clickable....) and low quolity. So, it is 2 out of 10!
