6/1/15 EDIT: Up to 5 stars, I've discovered you can access Sync as a folder on your phone, like "Gallery." Instead of exporting from Sync, just open (say) Instagram and when you go to upload a photo just select it out of Sync. I don't know why I didn't think of this/notice the folder was there before. Maybe a bit of a usability issue, but not as purpose-defeating as I initially assessed. -------------------- original below -------------------- You can open things in the app, but you can't (for instance) export a picture or video to Instagram. Sort of defeats the purpose of the app... would be a 5 otherwise.

Still can't share link or download The service is great, but the android app is minimal. You can't download anything from Web to phone and you can't send a link to something you've uploaded. Seems like this app is an afterthought,so they can say they have one. It can't be that difficult to add these features. You can upload but not download?

Almost good.try to next level.. Zero knowledge Privacy is good. But you app is not gud add more options. Trisorit is same cloud but that app is very very gud.please try same idea. Image loading very fast on trisorit but your app very long time downloading whole image size..no preview image.. Lots of option missing...Almost gud try next update more fuction..read and edit office fills also .thanks..

Great Really good. Haven't used it for long but the one thing I can think of immediately would be to add the ability to move files between folders. Kind of a nitpick, but I don't want to have to rely on my desktop for all my organization.

Love Sync! Great cloud storage for my photos and videos Very easy to use and professional cloud service with real privacy. I use Sync to backup the videos and photos on my phone. I have their 500GB account. Also use their free desktop app to keep my work files in the Sync cloud. Sync when compared to other cloud services from Google or Dropbox has one amazing difference: zero knowledge privacy. This means what stays in Sync is locked with encryption and you keep the keys. Keep up the great work Sync. Can't wait for the next update.

Good idea crippled by lack of mobile functionality Someday this app may be great, but right now you cannot even save files to mobile! Why bother having a mobile app if all you can do is "preview" but not save? The capacity is great, but until they get mobile sorted out this is pretty pointless.

Good, could be great Needs some basic functionality improvements, but the LACK of alleged "features"is refreshing. I love, love,love the simplicity. Feature request:Don't add any "features", just give it basic filesystem functions like selecting multiple files, and moving uploaded files files between folders in the cloud. Please keep the glorious simplicity.

Barely adequate There's nothing overtly wrong with the Sync app other than that it's seriously deficient in features, the kind of features one finds in Box, MEGA, OneDrive, and many others. The most serious feature omission is that Sync does not appear in the "share" menu, which drastically reduces its usefulness. I also tried installing the Windows client today and that failed, though I can still use Sync via my browser.

App is simply inadequate The camera upload feature is broken. The App is choppy. The mobile apps are significantly worse than desktop ones. Otherwise a good service though.

Great idea, fails in certain aspects Auto camera upload works like a charm. Manually uploading files randomly doesn't complete the files. This especially problematic with uploading videos for me. Some pictures don't either. No multi-file selections for upload and when you attempt to stack uploads they just replace the current one in que. Would love to see some of these issues resolved and features implemented.

Great service overall, app is still lacking features like file sharing and it is very unstable. The only thing stopping me from getting the paid version, such a shame because otherwise this is a great service

Cool App Nice alternative to the regular stuff we all are used to. How I can make the app store local data on a external SD instead of the Internal device memory ? The app Local storage reduces my capacity for keeping content for other apps.

Folder Upload I signed up for a free trial looking for a Dropbox replacement. Installed the Android app and wanted to test Sync by uploading a folder. Could not find a way to pick anything but files, not a folder. This might be in the Pro version but I am not paying to find out. I would have gone to Pro if this worked.

Miss some features I miss the ability to log out without having to clear Sync data (cache) and the ability to auto upload files from desired folders (other than just the camera folder). Edit: It's actually not possible to upload specific files in any way either...

Good security and pricing Simple interface, syncs well, easy to use. Premium prices are very reasonable. Vault is a very nice concept for use as a secure backup. Company are quick to respond and help with any problems and are actively implementing new features.

Buggy It seems that the application is not ready for primetime. The major flaw is that it doesnt detect file changes in the cloud ( which is also a problem with win desktop client sometimes). It also lacks indicator if the file is already present on phone. It also lags a little. However i like the security aspect and web interface. Please know that it doesnt support delta sync - after every change the file has to be uploaded again as a whole.
