Amazing app Exactly what I have been looking for, but there's one feature missing that would give this five stars; being able to put a single song and/or playlist onto the home screen. Nevertheless, the app is amazing. I don't understand why this has such a low rating. EDIT: I did what you told me to, and it works perfectly 👌Best music player out there. Very simplistic and no ads between songs 👍👍👍👍👍

We found ads to be a way to continue to give away our apps and keep the lights on. We hope you’ll understand this decision and stick around. Only one I'm satisfied with. This is simple and effectively organizes my music. No frills, decent equalizer with a couple of good presets. Dated UI gets a pass for usability. The settings and search ba are not easy to acces. The surround slider is a joke; it does a poor job emulating surround, and changing the slider changes nothing. There might as well be just a switch. The bass boost simply turns down the other frequencies, and it doesn't make sense why it is not a preset instead of its own slider. The slider does work, though.
I like it but... Love the overall design of the app and it's organisation especially while playing music, looks awesome. I also like the subtitle option it has however I didn't like that I cannot rearrange the songs on my playlists even though it gives me the option of moving the song around but it eventually snaps right back to it's original place. Another thing that bugs me is the "recently added" playlist that doesn't seem to show new songs that I have added to my phone. Also a multi delete option would be awesome.
Stopped working It was great. BUT! Suddenly after the last update it started uploading songs in random order as well as I list the ability to customise my song's speed and other features . it needs immediate update to fix the existing bugs. Last but not least you must surf your songs while it has locked screen, it only has pause and play.

Solid and smooth music player Not sure what the one guy was saying about "uploading" songs in the incorrect order but I have been using this music player for years across 2 phones and it's was a great experience on both phones. It's smooth, reliable and easy to use. Making playlists is very easy as well. This player is similar (if not the same one) used in Cyanogenmod9 so when I upgraded to a new phone I had to have that music player back. So thanks JRT studios for making a great music player!
GREAT EVERYONE DOWNLOAD! This app works really well! I love it and I love that can play my fave songs anywhere anytime with no wifi. Its also really easy to download songs. There are a few flaws though, that's why it's 4stars. Like it would be great if you added a search bar in the songs downloaded to find it easier. Also can you add a shuffle option for playlist? To continously play songs in a playlist? Thnx for listening:D
A very good music player;, all in all.. -cld be improved by a track editing facility perhaps; to add genres, rename etc & build playlists around these.. My sole gripe would be(s) for Android Pay etc that follow u between screens. I understand that the paid for version doesn't have these & can see why they're there.. Just not had the same with other music players, is all (or, not that I'd use regularly at any rate). Other than that, great.

-Justin Great app from a longtime user I have had this specific app to play music on multiple phones since 2012 running different versions of android. In my opinion this app is much better then the system mp3 player. Also i love how simple and easy to use it is, and how it does not take up much space on your phone. My only complaint was not being to pause/skip etc music in the notification bar, but the new update fixes that. Overall this is a great , and simple to use app.

Good but scroll bug Overall a good app but there is a bug in the version I'm using: When scrolling through artists, the scroll bar on the right indicates it is at the bottom of the list when it's only at the letter K. But it works ok when my thumb is held on the right hand side, with the letter in a green overlay. Another bug is when trying to recorder songs in a playlist - it's really temperamental, and you have to reopen the playlist to see if the change had an affect
LOVED YOU LONG TIME 'CHOSE THIS APP BECAUSE IT WAS SIMILAR TO THE ONE ON MY OLD COMPANY iPhone. IT HAS BEEN PERFECT AND EASY TO USE, (DESPITE MY "10 TECHNO THUMBS"). I USE A SAMSUNG S4 NOW; RECENTLY, WHEN THE PHONE SENDS AN UPDATE NOTICE AND I RUN IT...EVERYTHING IS CLEARED OUT (I MEAN " EVERYTHING "...EVERY PLAYLIST IS COMPLETELY EMPTIED). I HOPE THERE'S A FIX. YES I'D PAY A BUCK OR TWO FOR NO ADS AND TO SAVE PLAYLIST CONTENT. THANKS.
Good customer service Thank you for your reply to my comment about having adverts cutting my playlist into quarters and making it hard to enjoy the experience. Thank you for directing me to the settings to turn them off ad free. It's made the experience more enjoyable and now I can enjoy listening without stopping every few songs. 5star service right there 😄

You can turn off advertising for free in the settings. I'm sorry to hear that advertising is hurting your experience. Fortunately, you can turn off advertising and extra features if you don't want them.
-Justin Changes I don't keep much music local to the device anymore, but ads being introduced reduces the amount I will use the app. I fully understand the need to monetize an app to continue development, but monetization should either be added upfront, so users know what they are getting into, or the old project should stop receiving updates while new features are added to a monetized version.

-Chris Loved but now dislike I loved this app. Used it everyday, however on the last update, it no longer will switch songs while connected blue tooth to my car stero. I am very disappointed and after a week trying to figure it out, have had to switch to a different music player since I am constantly Nguyen listening to music. I need to be able to switch songs easily via blue tooth. :(
Was OK This has been my workhorse music player for a couple years. Only problems are 1) randomly stops playback, possibly due to conflicting apps, and 2) it only shows custom iTunes playlists in oldest-first order. This week app stopped showing synced iTunes files, only a couple emails downloaded from Gmail. Will probably uninstall.
Cool Its a really good app, the best ive ever downloaded but it would be even better if u could search up and download songs that u dont already have. Just an idea but hopefully it will happen someday. Seems like u cant find amy apps to download any music from nowadays.
Very good I've tried other players and keep coming back to this one. Why? It's simple, easy to use, takes up little space, and does everything I need it to do. Some have complained that it has ads, but that's not a fair criticism. The app makers have to make a living, and selling ads is how they do it. Besides, the ads aren't obnoxious and don't interfere with the ability to use the app. If you don't want ads at all, then pay for your apps.

Glad to hear that you’re enjoying our work! Thank you for your support. Ugh! If I turn my tablet off I lose every song in my folder so every night I have to load them back into the folder just to listen to my selection of sleep music. Adding songs to a folder is no easy task. The only way I can figure to do it is to play each song individually on the main menu and select from that menu. Huge hassle. By the time I'm done I'm too annoyed to fall asleep.

-Justin Couple of issues otherwise good Excellent for listening to my Audiobooks as it saves my spot on the track when closed. Had a few problems though, i have had is some tracks getting stuck and stuttering for about 30 second before continuing, tracks ending but then looping back to the middle of the track and continuing to the end again and a few annoying problems but they're not that common.

I really liked the ease of use my old phone's Media player especially in the way it was sorted and for making and saving playlists so I have tried a few since getting the new phone and didn't like them ... Then I found this on the app store! This is my old beloved Media player... My day is made!
Glad your back but cant play wma Upgraded from a Samsung rush to a samsung galaxy prevail very disappointed to see that there is no music player. Downloaded all my music from old CDs that I had that play just fine on the old smartphone that can't play on this app..please help!!!! I don't want to have to convert hundreds of songs to mp3 if not I'll just resort to using my old smartphone as a media player and hardly use my phone to listen to music very sad very disappointing
Noo Ugly design. You can't change the album art. Ads are everywhere and they even make the album art appear scrunched and disoriented. There's no "all songs", so you have to go back and forth between albums if you wanna listen to a certain band for the day
SUCKS!!!!!. It wont let me download music. It's not helpful for when I am out go data and not am not around Wi-Fi and if I want to listen to music I won't be able to get on YouTube. That is why I wanted to download it because then I could listen to music where ever I go but if the app does work yhere is no reason for me to download it. But other people might like it.

-Justin Semi ok. Most of the time it won't even give me a song that even sounds anywhere near what song I'm looking for. Do a lil more correcting in that area and I would be proud to give a 5 star rating and if it does start working good enough then I would most definitely start recommending you to all my friends.
Decent Music Player Nice feel and useful features. But I think I have a problem with being able to sort tracks in a playlist, don't know if that's just me or a bug. I'd like to suggest that maybe there could be a way to skip tracks automatically on party mix/shuffle.
Not pretty Doesn't look very nice (doesn't follow Material Design), didn't display the album art in the lock screen background which all other music players do. However, it seems to play music just fine, so there's that! It also responds to earphone remotes with a pause/play button, and double-tapping will skip to the next song.

Hi, Consider using our advanced music player Rocket Player with Material design elements and an updated UI. Overall good and nice looking I like the player. Unfortunately there is a bug. When listening to an album, if I delete a song I already heard (which I often do), the player starts skipping songs. It's as if it expects to find some track number and is unaware that the numbers have changed (because a song was deleted)

Hi Ben, Long press on the artist, then select "play" and all your songs by an artist will be played. Please give this a try. Consider revising your rating if you see fit. Would've been a five if not for.... The app won't let me rearrange the songs in a playlist I create, I can move them up and down perfectly but as soon as I let go. The song goes back to its original position. Any help please, otherwise I will have to look for a different music player.
I have a Samsung J7 Prime and this phone does not have its own music player (btw not kidding, this is the only downside of this smart phone). My phone sucks until I saw this today. Gaaaah! Thanks Chris and Justin. *heaven sent* PS. It's perfect!!! Don't change a thing.
Bug with Samsung s7? Love it with my S5. Just got the S7 and all apps transferred over but when I open the player it doesn't list my music. Am I missing something? Weird, just Un-installed and re-installed and now it works!!
No songs When I search for something (after I try and find it). There isn't any songs for example, I would type in some really popular singers like ... Green day for example. Nothing pops up and that isn't the only band name it seems to have 0 songs. Plz fix this.. After all what is a music really for.

When I reopen the app, it shows that I'm playing Fergie-London Bridge and paused it at 1:54. Hopefully this makes sense, but my songs are out of whack! Please fix it and I'll give you 5 stars!
