Paper Racing is an interesting and fun alternative style of racing game - it's a turn-based racing game.
The game simulates a car race on the sheet of paper. The rules for moving represent a car with certain inertia and physical limits on acceleration, braking and steering. It gives a very interesting and realistic driving behavior.

Found it! I played this on a computer as a kid... was just green dots on a black screen then. I'd like to see an oval or something that looks like Daytona, and maybe 2 laps... the extra trails from the first lap would cause some great added confusion! Only thing confused about is why some moves are not allowed on some turns... need to play more probably to figure that out. Definitely need more tracks!!!

Green racing Love this game. No multiplayer though, otherwise five stars. Still, great design and no bugs get. A local multiplayer or a multi-device option would be so much fun. Or a track creator/editor with randomization? Would seriously improve the experience.

Much fun and unique graphics This gave me a laugh and a good challenge. I'm used to cars that can brake a lot better than they can accelerate so it threw me off a bit. Maybe rate of decel could be a tunable parameter in the future.

Takes time to master, but it's fun to do so. You'll initially be zooming across straightaways only to plow into a house on a curve you can't negotiate, but as you practice, you'll learn how to think three moves ahead and win.

5 star free app! Great game, extremely challenging. Took some time to get used to the controls but has been addictive and free so far.
Needs new tracks Great game. Would be five stars of only for two things. An undo button for when I hit the wrong cell. And some new tracks.
Amazing Under 5mb; Worth every byte. Though I wish it had some kind of multiplayer with friends. But the global score thing is awesome.
Good idea, but controls are crap Controls are terrible, click to brake and the car speeds up, only works when going at 90°, just plain stupid.
Paperrific Great concept. Very addictive. Requires a lot of thought. Great game. Lots of room for new add-ons. Could potentially have vehicles with different acceleration & braking & turning capabilities. Could give vehicles ability to spin out of control if turning to hard at speed. Good game. Worth paying for.
Well made I've got no complaints about this game, would give 5 stars if there had been any updates since I downloaded, at least one track perhaps? Fully cleared all the others a while ago. Also multiplayer would be cool. Edit. Uninstalling because still no new tracks
Excellent puzzle game. Makes you realize how far ahead you need to start making changes to your trajectory to achieve the optimal path.
Fun! This game is very addicting to play when I have nothing to do. I love to play on my free time. I have not found any bugs yet from this app, so keep it up!

Lots of fun This game is a lot of fun; and a nice change of pace from the usual racing games. Very intellectual. A level/map creator/editor would be fantastic!

TurnBasedRacing Awesome game. Now give us multiplayer, as well as a local multiplayer. And this is a base template for like... adding weapons as well.

Great game Very easy to play but takes a while to learn. Nicely presented and just works really well.
Lots of fun, challenging too I actually played a paper and pencil version of this using graph paper, before computers.
New level ideas: Great game level wise add: monaco,abu dhabi,spain,brands hatch and pau XD
