Ever wanted to be Mayor? Ever wanted to run a town, develop the land, and see a metropolis grow? Well, look no further than Merge Town!, the newest title from Gram Games. The concept of the game is simple - you have a plot of land, and it’s your job to turn it into a town. Every so often, you’ll be gifted with a house. Each house can be merged with other houses of the same variety to form a bigger home. Every house built on the land will earn you money - the bigger the home, the more you will earn. The more you earn, the more houses you can purchase, and the more you can push the clock to develop faster. Use your spoils to discover new homes, and to expand into all new towns.
You have a singular goal: make your towns the best they can be. The bar at the top of the screen measures development - Merge buildings to earn XP and level up. Higher levels will unlock more space in your plot for you to develop, which will only allow you to develop your town to even further greatness. Once you develop into new towns, keep an eye on all your land, ensuring that you’re merging and developing to your full potential.
Merge, build, and develop your very own towns with Merge Town!

$ for failure. I paid for a couple of upgrades, because the developers deserve to get paid if you are enjoying the fruit of their labor. Unfortunately, the $ upgrades don't work properly. To be specific, I paid for better level crates, but I only get better crates if I log out for a while. If I am " tapping" for crates then I still only get the basic, lowest level crate for each 5 or 10 taps. So why did I pay good $ for better crates that don't show up? I sent an email to the developers weeks ago, but zero response. Fail.

Too many ads. Almost every 10 seconds. Whenever you switch between lots whichbis frequent when you have no land. Theres plenty of other merge like games to play. Not addicting enough to pay 3$ to "get rid of them popping up" but youd still have 100's of offers to watch ads to help make the game move faster.

This game is great, but definitely shows way too many ads like a lot of games these days. Not only is there a banner, but it pops up random video ads right in the middle of game play too. It would be better if they gave an ad when you unlock a new building or leveled up instead of randomly. It is still a good time killer, and in my opinion, worth unlocking ad free for 1.99

Remember 2048? This is like that but you can't fail. Riddled with ads and the only upgrades you can buy (of which there are only three) cost real world money. Fun for about a minute. Truly a model product from the mobile market. Do not download unless you want the app version of a fidget spinner.

If you like ads you will love this game. I've never seen a game try and get so many ad views in. No real way to progress much without paying some cash. Uninstalling because of the excessive number of ads (saw 4 just now from the time I logged in, combined 6 structures, and then tried to go buy with in game currency)

The game is good, but the ads would not load when trying to upgrade. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled, but it is still not letting me watch ads. I was level 32 and have spent time competing against my girlfriend, so now it kind of sucks... Help?

This game is awesome, I love it, it's simple, it's fun, it's actually quite addicting. But the ads. So. Many. Ads! Every single time you click on the store or go to a different lot, there is an ad, and It's driving me crazy to the point that I might have uninstall the app. Which is a shame, because it's a great game
The touch screen compatibility ceases when I enter the game. can't do anything except enter the game and exit the game. I don't know why but my friend is having the same issue on his phone and we have different phones. mine is a motorola moto z force and his is a samsung Galaxy s7. we love the game. just can't play it. only reason for the 3 stars
Good game. Very basic, but still fun. Would have given 4 or 5 stars if the bonus ads would ever work "Sorry none are available" is not an option. Everyone is complaining about too many ads yet none are available for when we really want them. Bad marketing tactics. I'd redesign my marketing team is I was Gram Games.
Uninstalling because there are way too many ads. Not to mention the lack of logic about how you have boxes that show up every 10 seconds but you're going to lock someone into an ad for 30. Completely sold itself out, ruined a great game because they got greedy.
I couldn't leave a good rating whatsoever because, for no reason, my game started not working. I can't press on anything. Game starts up, but nothing is pressable or interactable at all. I never changed the permissions, so that can't be it either. Not my issue, so imma just leave.
Im not sure why this game is so addictive but it is. I am so far away from being a fan of mobile games but this hooked me after watching my daughter play.Go ahead and give it a try and you may be surprisingly entertained.
Should change its name to Ad-town. Obstructive ads, everywhere. It gives you the "option" to not watch them then plays them anyways. Practically every 10 seconds you are forced to watch a 10-30 second ad.
Would be better if the bonus videos worked... Ever. Get told there are no videos available only to go into the store or change areas and be forced into a 30 second ad. Absolute trash
It's a nice game you should seriously tone down the ads. I really don't mind watching an add or 2 but they are everywhere in this game. It gets more annoying every time I play. So for now, bye bye Merge Town.
Usually i dont mind ads in games but this is a bit excessive. Also the game is just okay. Not great, but eh whatever its something i do when I'm bored. But i cant play for more than one minute without an ad. Oftwn they are back to back. I've had it for a few days and I'm not sure if I'm keeping this simple yet overly commercialized game.
Gameplay is a solid 10/10, this game is great. It's kinda slow and when you have a lot of space it'll slow down a lot but it's still fun. The one complaint is that there's way too many ads, like I get trying to make money but there's a limit to how many ads should be in a game before it takes away from the game. This is why I give this game a 3 star rating, the game is great bit there's an inane amount of ads.
Honestly I love this game! The gameplay is amazing and I love the look of the game! The only thing I would change is that it should be harder to get coins. It so easy to get them i can always buy any house I want at any time. But put that aside im in love with that game!
ADS. I would play the hell out of this game , if it weren't for all the ads. Everytime you switch to another screen (buying houses, switching neighborhoods etc) you get a long ad. It's also aggravating the amount of things unavailable to those who are unable or unwilling to spend their money on this game. I really want to love this game, but in it's current state? No way
1/5 stars until you fix the game. Can't tap anything on screen except the ads. Bug occurred after I dragged my Messenger bubble to the bottom to close it.
There are way too many ads and despite being a fun and well put together game, I the ads are so obnoxious that I uninstalled the app. Its a good game otherwise. Just know anytime you change screens (shop or other town) ad pops
U might think that owning a town is a lot of work. Well, with Merge Town it's just a simple tap and you've already got a house. I'm literally addicted to this game from the second I downloaded it! Download it NOWWWWWWWWWWWW! What are you waiting for? Stop reading this review and just download it! ( :
One of the important aspects of this game is the ability to watch ads in order to double your earnings and upgrade your buildings. Unfortunately for the last week these haven't been working. No response from support, so for me it's an uninstall. Pity as I expected more from this company after the release of dragons. Definitely dropped the ball with this one.
This is just boring over-rated app. Don't waste your time with this. The things that you get in gift boxes are not even that good. Also there is way too many ads!
This game so wonderful. Its entertaining and fun. I can spend hours on it and not loose interest. The only problem I've had is that I bought premium items with it and now when I got buy another upgrade it says I have an error with the purchase.
It was alright. The game didn't really say what money was used for. I got bored after about 20 minutes. Every time I went to shop an ad would play that was 30 seconds long and every few minutes an ad would play. Good game so far but please remove some ads.
Way too many ads. I feel like this game is just a way to advertise and sometimes get to play. Open the store? Ads. Switch towns? Ads. Click on anything but the box? Ads. Tone it down or give more options to boost things with optional ads. I hate having them in my face like that.
Good game but the ads pop up too frequently if you try to do anything other than look at the Current town. Purchasing any in game item removes the ads but non paying, but for the non paying it's really annoying
The game does not provide a motive to play. You have to wait for low level houses, or you buy with in game currency. No way to upgrade the clicker which speeds up spawns without paying real money. And too many ads.
The interactive ad for this ruined my other game. This could have potentially been seen by me and installed but now I will never play this. Good job!
This game is very addictive but there are way too many ads. Like if you want to go buy a house there's an ad. If you want to upgrade your gift there is an ad. If you want to switch different boards there is an ad. If they would remove some of the ads then it would definitely be a keeper.
Prime example of what's wrong with games with microtransactions. Game earned cash is pretty much useless. Upgrades that matter are locked behind a $1.99 pay wall for each upgrade. On top of this, the game forces an advertisement video on you every minute or so it seems. Game is fun, and the gameplay it's nice. But the amount of forced ads and the pay wall upgrades killed it for me.
The setting to purchase an upgrade to start out with upgraded property is disabled. Emailed the developers and they still have not replied or done anything to correct the issue so I personally will be uninstalling the game until they fix the store. Otherwise good game but takes too long to upgrade starting with low level property
i don't understand why I have to tap 10 times to spawn a box. it's so tiring after a while. there is no progress feeling. no skill required. only skill needed is patience as you have to fuxking tap 10 times for a box and if you have 10 tiles that makes a hundred taps. only good thing is cute graphics. other than that clueless game.
Was good before the last update. Now it has to many ads popping up randomly. I'll watch ads to get building's when I choose to, but now theres an ad for almost every 4 taps. Love playing this game, just wish they would fix it to how it was. I may uninstall if the problem doesn't get fixed.
Be prepared to ourchase something tonget rid of ads, otherwise game is not able to be played without serious frustration. Once I got rid of ads, it's a very addicting mind numbing game
Addicting, but WAY TOO many ads. Incentives for watching ads is fine, but showing an ad everytime I open the purchase menu is ridiculous. Fix this and I promise to update to 5 stars. UPDATE: I dropped from three stars to two because I saw comments that were either made by the authors or crowdsourced. It is obvious when I see multiple comments that are character by character the same. I DESPISE cheap tactics like this.
Have you ever played the game 2048? This would be basically the same, if 2048 had no challenge whatsoever, no objective, no end, and was filled with ads. At least it's colorful so I'll give it a couple stars for presentation.
Very Great Game! They did a very nice job the only thing I would fix is there is to much ADS! I think anyone who played this game could agree! But a love the game I've been playing it for a couple months now.
Well I was starting to enjoy this game and I actually paid for a couple of crate level ups which I believed to be permanent upgrades only to find out that they disappeared and downgraded again later on. What an outrageous scam that is, either refund me or make my upgrades permanent.
