Great app Sony Tablet S & Xperia - I really like ability to hide certain folders and ability to view both organized folders and recent images. Removed 1 star because on SDcard photos, the delete function takes long time to refresh its screen (it gives impression that the deleted image is still there but shown with blank error screen).

QuickPic runs circles around the Android stock photo galleries. Haven't seen stock galleries as good as QuickPic in quite some time which is why it's one of the first apps I download when I move to a new device or talk to new Android owners about apps they should download. Enjoy being able to separate pics into albums, the included edit tools and most of all being able to hide pics and albums the ability to do so comes included with QuickPic - no additional app(s) to download. Download this app.

QuickPic Gallery, an excellent piece of software! Awesome! It does exactly what you require it to do! Automatic upload to Cloud (2gb) for free. Can be setup to use phone data allowance or only to use your connection through WiFi. Why risk not having a copy of your precious photograph saved so you can access it anytime, anyplace, anywhere!
Always Does What It Should Have used on two Samsung Phones (GN5 and GS7 EDGE) without any problems. If it's professional-like editing you're looking for, this is obviously going to disappoint. If its a place to store cell phone photos, some basic editing, (that will display beautifully) and is very user friendly... this is at the top imo!

The Dominion Approves I tried to ask Damar if he liked this app but all I got out of him was grunts. He was extremely drunk off of kanar today. Gul Dukat liked how you could put passwords on private galleries. He's a secretive man, you know. The Founders, how much I love them, liked this app very much so and I earned a hug from the female Founder. I am so proud of myself for introducing this app to the prosperous Dominion! I, too, loved this app. I have yet to ask the Jem Hadar.

Great album manager if you've LOTS of pics I am really impressed, it's a lean, capable and fast album manager, handles even directories with several thousands(!) of pictures and scans/sorts through them fast. It also handles really large pictures (tens of thousands pixel height/width), something what most competition is lacking. Bonus points: it's free, no hidden agenda/trickery, not even the usual "address book"-farming. [Pixel XL 128 GB phone on Android v7.1.1]
Cant record video and take photo since set this app as default. After i change back to stock galerry everything is fine. All the rest make this app very good. Freat for conection with cloud serrvise dropbox and other. Easy to view pictures in dropbox same as photos on the phone. Problem noticed on Note 4 android 6.0.1
An old favourite, but... I now need to organise a particular folder of images by custom tags. The tags need to be stored separately from each image. My Samsung Gallery app has a half-baked version of this, enough to start drawing me away from QuickPic....! Please add this feature including a decent option to filter by tags; plus an easy way to add / remove / create tags... for a full five stars.
Way to go! And improvements to be made This app is getting better! However, I'd like to point out a major flaw(in my opinion) : I couldn't restore a whole album in the cloud storage. Instead, i must restore the photos one by one, hopfully tis can be renovated :D
Needs Work App works so much better than than stock LG photo app. WARNING-Do not use to edit photos. It will save a copy for every edit, leaving multiple copies of the image in addition to original. App Does not sort subfolders properly. BE CAREFUL SENDING EMAIL. Photos sent by email do not save in sent items!!
Its The best android gallery app Quite lite fast and simple with user friendly options. You will never get disappointed after using this one. I have been it for a long time imstead of samsung's bloatware gallery app. Its easy to find a picture that you are looking for. Also provided with backup options including cloud service of its own manufacturer and major other services like drive,dropbox etc..
Was a great app, but it seems like the new developers don't even listen to users... 1. There is no ability to completely turn off cm cloud functionality. For example there is a button in the menu "backup to cm cloud" even if it's turned off.. 2. Missing the new Android 6 share menu.

Former Best Gallery App One of the best gallery apps there was... Was worried about CheetahMobile taking over, but they left it well alone. Now it's randomly putting ads into my notifications. It has been uninstalled and will never be reinstalled until CM confirm the ads are -GONE-
I love this app but.... It's murder on my phone battery. I left it idle on the home screen with the app running in the background, and after three hours, it had consumed 28% of my battery compared to other apps. The layout it the best I've seen, it works fabulously, and I really really wish I could use it. But I can't justify the drain it puts on my battery.
Awesome app, but.. The icon of QuickPic doesn't look Familiar like that of standard gallery Icon , it looks like any other non gallery app.. please change it in next update and select more Generic type of gallery icon so that we can happily keep QuickPic as default Gallery on our HomeSreen. Fastest gallery app BUT: ad notifications! Was my go-to app, and I have to admit no other app made so far indexes and updates all image folders on the device so quickly, BUT I can't take these damn ad notifications. I'm very torn over it: it's like your favorite uncle comes over for Christmas and then declares he voted Trump. Total betrayal and a dealbreaker, actually.
About the recent new update There is a problem in new recent update, which is - when trying to share images or media by whatsapp application, we are not able to select more than one pic or media where whatsapp allow to share 10 media at a same time. And also i can share 10 media by device default storage viewer so it's clear that bug is in quickpic app not in whatsapp. So one star
Did it all & I did it well. This app WAS lean, fast, shows animated GIFs, plays some movies types, & ran circles around stock Gallery. Include/Exclude & hidden folders are excellent. Then the development sold out. Won't update to new versions.

Gif preview not supported I've been using this app for a long time now and I always wanted to preview gifs without opening them. Plus, it would be nice to also integrate folders that do not show up in gallery like those in telegram documents.
Best App Ever! Its the best android app for photos. Plz fix the mode menu for switching between explorer mode. The option only appears when you select multiple images then press copy to or move to...plz provide the option in settings menu...it gets hard to revert.
Quickpic No other image gallery comes close. Fast, reliable, sorting alternatives, 500px, edits and more that I forget right now and the developer(s) keep adding and improving it. You only need this gallery app and can freeze or delete all others. S5 on RR 5.8.0

HD... not enough HD viewing is below the native resolution of most all modern phones. Using this app will reduce viewing quality of your photos. This app boasts about its HD viewing but this is something to be ashamed of not boast about. Unless you like lower quality photo viewing. And now the app is unable to modify pictures in your SD card. So while this was once the best photo viewing app it is now actually one of the worst, youve just got used to it..

Destroyed all my pictures!!! Everything seemed fine when I first used the app. Now all pictures say Load failed! Can't view my pictures on any app in my phone including stock gallery! Good app overall. Only one problem I've got with last update. Delete function does not working properly. Sometimes have to press delete and confirm more than 5 times to delete one picture. Really annoying. Phone is Sony z5c with Android 6.0
Excellent app, but Excellent app. Been using it exclusively for years. Just one small suggestion: the thumbnails of my many photos are periodically erased, making it so that I have to go through all my pictures again, slowly waiting for the thumbnails to be generated again. Can this be avoided?
Needs of Optimisation 1)Grid (columns) size of Photos in folder must be increased to four or five. 2)Needs for more control buttons in opened photos like share,delete, options at bottom. 3)Small thumbnail preview list of photos at bottom of opened photos. 4) Photo throw to close that photo
The Best About the only thing I thoroughly hate on my Moto Z is the stock Google Photos app. After coming over from Samsung, I expected the Gallery to make the leap with me - I was wrong! After months of searching, this app gives the familiarity I was hoping for with extra flexibility and organizing options. When you throw in free cloud backup, this is an app that can't be beat!
Quickpic 4.5.2 Quickpic is an amazing minimalistic software which does what it's supposed to do. Sadly it's now one of those apps which can't be used anymore due to a big company buying it and flooding it with ads and cloud services. If you still want to use quickpic without CM get yourself the version 4.5.2 - the last version before CM took over. Also if you browse reviews here you'll notice only a few disliking the new "direction" this app is going while the majority of reviews are 5 star without a single word. Fishy.
DONT USE THIS APP.... IT TRANSMITS YOUR DATA TO CHINA!!! Was the best gallery app before getting acquired from Cheetah mobile. Any power user of android knows that anything owned by cheetah mobile is UTTER CRAP. If you have any doubts, check various articles from XDA. Search in Google for "Cheetah mobile XDA". You'll get to know yourself.
Pics are all black in preview About 80% of my pictures appear as blank in the gallery, some show up when I open them, some don't. I sent an email a few weeks ago, never got a response. Used to work great.
Formidable! By far, this is the best image manager app for Android. It has many features impossible to find together in other app. Best of all is the lack of ads and banners. However, I miss a tool: sorting of images at random; I would pay a fee for it.
Small and fast, too bad the landscape view not flexible After so many upgrades, still insists on how the users must view the landscape mode. If you rotate the device 180 degrees, the picture will be upside down instead of automatically rotate to adjust. Particularly annoying during charging, when the electrical plug is on your left-hand side (for Samsung devices). Is it so hard to make it more flexible?
Cheetah Mobile is Cancer. This app was so nice before CM bought it out. The developer worked hard to give us a perfect app, free and ad-free. Support requests were answered in minutes, bug fixes came out within hours. Then one day Cheetah Mobile bought them out. Then... Bloat, crap and secret background processes.
one of the best! needs a few tiny features used to be the fastest and leanest, now grown a bit in girth. still very good, though the delete button is very laggy.. Might need a "trash" option, and a way to add stars to pick favorites..
Has become worse Images used to load very quickly in previous versions (as far back as Android 4). Is still an excellent app, but is becoming worse over time. Devs could look into indexing thumbnails once again.
