Original David Whitehead fabric - it may be a Marian Mahler design. Early 1950s design - recorded in the "David Whitehead Ltd Artist Designed Textiles 1952 -69" book and described as being inspired by "fashionable Swedish designs" of the time.

Bogolan is a handmade cotton fabric from Mali, traditionally dyed with fermented mud. These are by designer Boubacar Doumbia in collaboration with Habitat UK senior designer Rebecca Hoyes.
