New Spring Catalog Mid-Week Inspiration With Beautiful You

Hello there Paper Craft Crew friends and fans! Welcome to the Mid-Week Inspiration that I coordinate for our challenge this week (PCC224) where we have a very fun Black Gala Tie theme! You can use black, white and one other color on your card and here is mine!

I LOVE my card. You knew it was coming if you’re a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator. This lovely little card is so incredibly simple, took 3 minutes to stamp and 10 minutes to clean up the supplies that I used and to generate my product list. This is an incredibly clean and simple card that has endless possibilities with all of the color combinations available to you, as well as using your other Stampin’ Up! products to make a Black Tie Gala card with. Again, this is another fabulous card that can be easily mass produced to keep on hand and send out or give to a friend at a moment’s notice with the wonderful sentiments in this stamp set.

Beautiful You is a clear mount stamp set that is a double stamp set in that the entirety fits into 2 DVD cases. There are 3 images and 8 uplifting and encouraging sentiments. Also included in this fantastic stamp set is 2 of the “scribble” images, one of which is shown above.

This new stamp set can be found in the Spring Occasions 2017 Catalog that will be available for you to purchase on January 4, 2017. I can guarantee you that you are going to love ALL of the new products. Everything in the new Spring Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure coordinate with each other. For instance, in the Occasions Catalog, there will be a stamp set that you would like, but the coordinating designer series paper is in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. The beauty of Sale-A-Bration is that you also receive the coordinating designer series paper for FREE with a $50 product purchase before taxes and shipping. That’s like having your cake and eating it too! It doesn’t get much better than that.

The only technique I did on this card is masking. Since the stamps are clear mount and not photopolymer, I did not want to do any stamp surgery on them. I usually only do that with photopolymer stamps. I simply took a Post-It-Note and covered up one side of the sentiment with selective inking of Basic Black Archival Ink (stamped twice using my MISTI for a crisp and clean black inked image) and Melon Mambo Ink. I felt that the card would be off balance without any extra Melon Mambo and this was the trick. I then adhered 3 small rhinestones around the card in a visual triangle. I had originally tied some of our 1/8″ Silver Ribbon around the left side of the card, but it just wasn’t cutting it for me. I took it off and the card looked so much better. I was trying to find a little extra bling to tie in the tiny rhinestones, but they are tiny…it’s okay.

I promise you that you will love this stamp set. It’s already being talked about as the most highly requested and popular stamp set in the Spring Catalog. There are no Thinlits to coordinate with the card, just an awesome stamp set that I can’t wait to play with more!

Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit us today. We really appreciate it! I know it’s a busy time of year for you. God bless and everybody at the Paper Craft Crew wishes you very Merry Christmas with your family and loved ones.

Mid-Week Inspiration + NEW 2017 Spring Catalog + Sale-A-Bration + Why You Need to Join Stampin’ Up!

Hello there friends and fans of the Paper Craft Crew! This is Cindy B here and hello again! I’ve been dealing with breast cancer and that’s why you haven’t seen me around much lately. I’m really hoping to get back on my feet again soon. This has not been fun.

Don’t you just love Pam’s new design of our blog?! It’s awesome! I love it. We are also so thrilled about the increased participation with our challenge. A new challenge goes up every Wednesday. I’m personally a Tuesday comment person so that I don’t miss out on leaving a comment on all of the beautiful cards and projects that YOU have made for us 🙂

So, what do you think of the new fabulous sneak peek from the new Spring Occasions 2017 Catalog AND Sale-A-Bration?! Very cool – literally! I used the brand new Cool Treats Product Suite on pages 32-33 in the Spring Catalog. This Product Suite is a must have (and you get 10% off!) – aren’t they all?! No, seriously, this one is. This is a full suite in that Stampin’ Up! gave us coordinating Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper, Tasty Treats Designer Washi Tape, a new Ombre’ Ink Pad of Peekaboo Peach, an incredibly luscious stamp set of Cool Treats with the Frozen Treats Framelits Dies! Oh my! I left out the Sprinkles Embellishments! They were so much fun to make my shaker card with! The colors in this Product Suite are perfectly and beautifully coordinated of Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizazz, Peekaboo Punch, Pool Party, Watermelon Wonder and Whisper White. I love it when Product Suites have so many colors to choose from! The possibilities are truly endless!

I had so much fun making this card. I should have done a video demonstrating to you how I enlarged the ice cream portion of the card on top of the cone, but I can do that at any time if you would like to see a short video as to how I did this. Please let us know in the comments. Remember, at the Paper Craft Crew, you will find everything Stampin’ Up! here and if that’s not your thing, then we have some awesome designers like Tenia, Jan and Justin, so far, that I know of, that use other products on their cards. I can guarantee you that if you look at their lovely cards, you will find something that is in your SU arsenal to match what you want to make.

Speaking of making beautiful projects, for Stampin’ Up!, the Spring Occasions Catalog is available for you to order from on January 4, 2017. The Spring Occasions Catalog, which is always in conjunction with the annual Sale-A-Bration, is where you spend $50 and get to pick a totally free product(s) from the SU Sale-A-Bration Brochure, and there is some great products in there this year, many of them coordinating with items in the Spring Catalog. It’s a win-win!

Not only that, if you wish to become a demonstrator, now is the ABSOLUTE best time to join and I will tell you why. We are almost all done making our Christmas projects and are a little bit ready to leave green and red behind for another year. Joining is fabulous! It’s only $99 and you pick your product + you get all of the business supplies that you need! Here’s the fun part, as a demonstrator, you already get to order a month in advance and see the catalogs a month before that time. When you place your very first SU order, you get 30% off of your entire order rather than the usual 20% discount. Imagine this, you will be able to order all of the lovely new products for Spring and get a lot of SAB products for free! When I placed my pre-order, I so scored! It was awesome! Free products, 30% off brand new products. That’s an easy decision for me. Please talk to your favorite design team member about Stampin’ Up! and become a member of their team. I promise you won’t regret it.

For my card, I used everything Cool Treats, even the Washi Tape! The Peekabook Peach Ombre’ Ink Pad is stamped on the inside of my card as another sentiment.

Personally, I’m so over Christmas cards and everything else, and of course, you want to play with the new and fun products, and that’s exactly what I plan on doing and you will see many more cards and projects made from our fabulous design team.

I know I’m late and we also have a new challenge going up tomorrow, but I wanted to share with you my sketch challenge card and the great new products that will be in your craft room soon!

We have so much to share with you at the Paper Craft Crew! We would like to thank you so very much for stopping by to visit us today and God bless!
