In this workshop you’ll explore the new features available for CSS Layout. Learn the emerging best practices for using Grid and Flexbox. Discover how to support browsers without support, and ensure that our new powers don’t lead to us causing accessibility problems.
I’ll also be taking a look at how the web is moving away from physical dimensions – mapping layout to the top, right, bottom and left of the physical screen – to using logical properties and values. By the end of the day you will have a better understanding of how layout works, and have plenty of code examples and resources to use as a reference as you start to implement these techniques in your work.
