I lived right on the University Boulevard (bulvar) in for two years (right next to kutubxona). It is one of the most magical places in the world. Please no obodlashtirish. I saw it not long ago and it remains beautiful.

Dep Min Meliev and other top Uzbek officials met with experts among others this week. Meliev is happy with the exchange, and says the government is open for "constructive engagement" with any party sharing the development goals of the country.

Has the level of fear of the government and mistrust in the system gone down at all? I ask Dep Min Khudayar Meliev. He disagrees that citizens fear and don't trust the govt but says the system is hard at work to connect with the people and work for them.
