here's another idea for your new T-Shirt collection. if Ether is a security, Ripple is the mother of all of them

From a securities law point of view, it's amazing to see what's going on in Cryptoland. it's so absurd, and I cannot understand how the SEC ignores it for so long.

Read the Ripple complaint, it aims to establish that element, and let me know. I'm not a US Securities lawyer, but it's quite convincing, assuming all facts are true

Regardless of this suit, can someone remind me which element of the Howey test is not clearly present in XRP?

So, we shall see.. I guest nothing will come out on Monday. To me it seems that Ripple is a clear and easy case compare to Ether, almost a plain-vanilla security. I wonder how the SEC can ignore it without opening the gates altogether

if the SEC decides that XRP is a security (makes sense, to say the least), it could be the plaintiff's lucky day... Is there any SEC decision / announcement expected on Monday? I've seen some references to that

so James, you mention the 2015 settlement regarding Ripple's violation of the Bank Secrecy Act. Can you please provide more details about that, or a link to the settlement?

and what's your take on the Ripple class action? "From 2013 to the present Defendants have been engaged in an ongoing scheme to sell XRP to the general public in a never ending ICO"

The Ripple class action complaint is a MUST READ. sad.

it's actually sad, since most alts are useless scamcoins (and probably also "Securities" under US Law), and so you're promoting this dangerous illegal pyramid game. History will remember that.

and when all shitcoins are traded only in BTC pairs, so ppl buy shitcoins to ride on those pump scams by selling BTC, unbelievable. This is unsustainable, a classic pyramid game.

Let me rephrase: if BCash will rise from 10% hashrate/value of bitcoin's today to more than 50% thanks to Roger &Co. Inc. efforts, most probably they will succeed in wiping BTC to zero. The USD value is not relevant here

By now, all this is a useless academic theory. If BCash gains at some point greater hashrate and market cap, BTC is kaput. Bitcoiners tend to ignore this truth, believing that at some point the honeybadger will wake up, but life is not a fairytale

If Bitcoin dominance will go down to 20% it may well go down to 10 or 5. This downtrend is unsustainable because Bitcoin backs up all cryptos out there. At some point, this year or afterwards, 90% of all altcoins must crash.

To be fair, you seem to be much more neurotic and obsessed with this than most bitcoiners. They know Bcash is a fake, a failed replica and a scam, and have not much interest to discuss it any further
