Dominic Grieve says that unless PM changes her choice of her deal or no deal, "we are going to spiral down into oblivion and the worst part of it all is that we will deserve it"

Dominic Grieve: “I have never been more ashamed to be a member of the Conservative Party”

It is now official that the PM will not attend 1922 meeting of Tory MPs. So we have evidence that there is a limit to how much abuse even she can take from her colleagues

As I said earlier, Labour now faces choice between backing May’s deal and no deal.

“A short extension will be possible conditional on a positive vote in House of Commons” says . So Brexit delay requires MPs to back PM’s deal at third attempt. Tusk implies he expects a no-deal Brexit.

Matters that PM just met cabinet ministers - , etc - who hate long Brexit delay and asked to see her. But excludes and the gang who prefer longer delay. “She has made her choice”

Senior minister tells me PM is making statement to nation tonight. And tells me ministers reading a good deal into saying at words to the effect that she won’t remain PM if Brexit delayed beyond 30 June. Hmmm

Or rather it will start in just a few minutes. This is another attack by MPs in their battle with PM to take control of Brexit

Leader of Plaid Cymru tells MPs that and all after 6 tonight - and asks Speaker for guidance on which minister best deserves her attention for Brexit talks!

Speaker Bercow opens the possibility of parliament sitting in emergency session this Saturday. Obviously I see the argument, given that the Brexit stakes are so high. But I must admit that my heart slightly sinks, for purely selfish reasons

would vote against her. But it would be almost impossible, surely, for Labour to vote against her deal, because it is so implacably opposed to a no deal Brexit. Nightmare decision for EU leaders about whether just to grant delay or make it conditional

Bizarrely it would probably suit if EU refuses to give Brexit extension to 30 June unless and until her Brexit deal is ratified, because that would set up the choice next week as between her deal and a no-deal Brexit on 29 March. Lots of Tory Brexiters...

This first part of ⁦⁩’s letter to ⁦⁩ has potential to tear apart both Labour and Tory parties - because there are MPs in both parties who passionately believe it is wholly irresponsible to rule out longer Brexit delay. Huge moment

This from official source, from my piece: "There was a presentation to the shadow cabinet updating on the local election and the impact of support for a second referendum on our levels of support, including doorstep feedback".

.⁦⁩ tells ⁦⁩ how she intends next week to get round the Speaker’s ban on bringing her deal back to MPs for a third meaningful vote. Goodness knows if EU will allow Brexit delay on that questionable basis

. says has requested Brexit delay to no later than 30 June - Brexiters in her cabinet have won. 30 June is the new no-deal Brexit cliff edge if EU agree to delay - which they may not

This is important. Shows shift of Labour leadership away from referendum and towards Common Market 2.0 soft version of Brexit. See
