Repeal 8th Global 22 h
2 of us started Repeal Global in 2016 & never knew it would turn into 30 global groups. It's been an incredible journey with some amazing people to repeal the 8th. We were proud to stand with to help get people engaged & home to vote.

By repealing sections 58 and 59 of the 1861 offences against the person act, we would be able to take abortion out of the jurisdiction of criminal law, and allow NI to develop legislation without women fearing prosecution

Today writes in the “Devolution cannot be used as cover to deny women their fundamental healthcare needs – at present the only Northern Irish woman making choices about abortion is the DUP leader, Arlene Foster.”

We may have but there is more work to do. Women in NI are still unable to access abortion at home - but you can help change this. have launched a template to contact your MP - it only takes 1 minute!
