He's trying to define Russia's interference as their social media operations and ignore the hacking and release of emails, which the candidate publicly encouraged and then discussed 141 times on the campaign trail.

one of the most interesting things about warren's student loan/free college plan is its specific focus on racial inequality

Mary Jo White is who we on the Warren Wing said she was: An embodiment of Establishment Avarice.

Dems are not making one of their best arguments: That by obstructing the probe, Trump impeded the inquiry into not just his conduct, but also into the Russian attack on our political system. Here's scholar Philip Bobbit on why this might be impeachable:

A message I got from a former FB employee on the co's new general counsel: "How fucking perfect. The platform — with its tentacles in every last aspect of people's lives — is now receiving legal counsel by the woman who authored much of the Patriot Act."

Politicians often stumble on this "where have you changed your mind?" question. Sanders saying he agrees with criticisms that he didn't pay enough attention to foreign policy, and he's doing so now, is a smart answer that lets him talk about a growing area of strength for him.

That monopolies answer by Warren in her CNN townhall was killer. A master class is how to clearly explain a complex policy that’s without collapsing into jargon. The idea that Warren isn’t a charismatic speaker is insane. This is the stuff people gushed over Bill Clinton for.

She spent half her life living in Oklahoma and Texas. She grew up working class, brothers served in military. Projecting stereotypical Harvard Law prof on her has hurt, but campaign will redress.

Easy to argue at this point that Warren's biggest strength isn't the pre-existing support she brought into race (her poll numbers are underwhelming) or grassroots fundraising (her fundraising just so-so) but instead her raw political talent (ala McCain in '08?)

A powerful answer from Warren on the question she's answered differently than most of her fellow 2020 candidates.

Been on a plane and in cars watching the fascinating candidate Town Halls on . One thing I’d note right off the top: Passionate oration on the anti-consumer aspects of ‘05 bankruptcy bill was a not-very-subtle shot across the bow to , who fought for it.

Why would MAKING A MASSIVE PUBLIC HOOPLA ABOUT THE PRESIDENT’S CRIMES meaningfully increase his chances of re-election??

The House can always flip the valence of delay ... "Provided that no funds appropriated by this or any other statute shall be used to pay any expenses of the White House Counsel's Office, including salaries, until such time ..." &c.
