Yes indeed. I might perhaps be inviting people to draw a parallel

One of the more intriguing things about Trump is that he lies about trivial things, as well as matters of moment. Bear that in mind as you watch this

It's true. Brief but deadly look at exactly that moment

Among the most embarrassing answers was on the Irish border, when he admitted he has no solution but that there’s now lots of “positive energy”. That’s not politics, it’s aromatherapy.

Absolutely dismal. You can see why they do not let him out much. I wouldn’t hire an intern on the back of an interview like that.

Flailing and floundering, unable to ask any question that demands details not generalities - desperately weak performance by Boris Johnson

Former Japanese prisoners of American internment camps peacefully demonstrated in front of a former internment camp facility that is being set up for indefinitely holding immigrants. A military cop interrupted and began shouting aggressively at them to leave.

Yep. See also; if a twice divorced woman with a boyfriend half her age & kids by several different men ran for leader we’d literally never hear of anything else

In awe of the courage of my colleague Noemi Levy-Aksu, who was sentenced to 30 months in prison in Turkey for signing a petition against state violence. Levy-Aksu could have left Turkey but applied for Turkish citizenship in order to stand trial.

On the plus side, Trump said he got a "very nice letter" with “birthday wishes" from Kim Jong-un. So that's good.

Some far right “Tommy Robinson” supporters from out of town came into Castleford today, inc one apparently calling for me to be burnt - just as we were marking for Jo Cox across West Yorks. Shows Jo’s legacy is more important than ever

Short of wrapping these comments up in patterned paper and tying them with a bow, Johnson could not have given Labour a bigger gift

There was a time when condemnation like this from a former Telegraph editor would have been devastating in Toryland. Question is, are today's Tory membership so hard Brexit/ex-UKIP that they'll dismiss Hastings as just a liberal remoaner?

No wonder is hiding away. His back-of-an envelope “policies” on Brexit are falling apart when subjected to the slightest scrutiny
