Definitely different audiences, so I tried to post content related specifically to that audience (younger, more female, more urban)

I’ve just checked these guys out - what a great charity making real change. Annual report shows they are currently impacting 750,000 people in most need across east Africa. Great work !

Metaldehyde ones have. As a farmer you have to have days of training and numerous exams, but householder could go to the garden centre and throw them around like confetti. Now they’re banned.

My point exactly. I was ‘comforted’ by them telling me that they could alternatively cite 1 kilometre square grids. With great cresteds typically around ponds and pond density not too great, I told them that it would be still too easy for redlist tourists to trample the farm!

I actually wouldn’t want to put a specific location on a map. I had this conversation with Natural England who were going to look for great crested newts (absolutely fine) and then share exact location details for anyone to see. Surely that’s not ideal? Just a thought...

Forgive me, but, does it make any difference if he does put himself about or not? Surely anyone should be free to walk around without being concerned about having something thrown at them?

True, and while people are feeling like they can launch whatever they want at those they disagree with, do we then get to acid/dyes etc? There was an awful woman on radio 4 this avo saying it was ‘playful’ but then stopped short when asked if she’d like it done to her...

If your position is exclusively about your being unhappy with your dietary habits being responsible for creatures being killed, I’d prescribe a balanced ramble through ‘The Omnivore’s Dilemma’ as per point 1.

Celebrating 🐝 with here showing farmers do to support our . 🐝🦟 have ⬇️ since we were paid to pull up to feed the nation after WW2, but now we’re taking back land, planting plants & establishing ‘B-lines’.
