didn’t just go into coalition. They surrendered to Fine Gael. Remember the Every Little Hurts advert and how it backfired. Every red line crossed. That was Labour in Gov. This isn’t about left unity - it’s about Lab positioning itself as a mudguard for FF/FG yet again.

As for the North - is the second largest party and growing with every election. Precisely because we fight austerity. Meanwhile your erstwhile Sister Party, the SDLP, are selling themselves to the highest bidder.

Unfortunately I do. As do the hundreds of thousands of voters Sinn Féin represent. I watched at first hand Labour implement FG policy after policy. And ordinary people paid the price.

called on their voters to transfer to in recent elections. They propped up FG in Gov & implemented their austerity policies with gusto. Now they see FG as the problem & want a progressive alternative. In truth they want a fast route into Gov with eitherFF or FG.

Tony O Brien’s attacks on the PAC & are attacks on public accountability. The PAC held the HSE to account for scandals such as the Grace Case & Cervical Check. PAC did its job & will continue to do so. Mr O Brien lacks humility. His attacks against SF are pathetic

This is dreadful. It is a terrible way to view women. Abortion will not become a contraception of choice. It will be a last resort available to women in a crisis pregnancy. And it’s a choice they should and must have. Comments like this hurt women who have had abortions.

Today I moved a Bill in the Dáil to make the Office of the President subject to the Freedom of Information Act. There is no reason why this should not be the case. The spend of all public monies should be open to scrutiny.

Travellers should not be used as scapegoats by a Presidential Candidate on 1% in the polls and looking for controversy. Peter Casey should be ashamed. I am certain it will backfire. The Irish people are better than that.

must not play the Orange Card in crunch Brexit talks. Those days are gone. She must act in the interests of the majority in the North. Putting the DUP first is also bad for Britain. She must show leadership.

needs to realise that the people of the North voted YES to the GFA and NO to Brexit. The notion that we change the GFA to suit Brexit is preposterous and undemocratic. What is sacrosanct is no hard border and protecting the GFA in all its parts!
