This week Ford claimed only "lefties" care about public health. I think preventing diseases, immunizations and water inspections are everyone's concern, no matter your politics. We will continue to do everything we can to stop Ford from taking risks with our loved ones.

Municipalities are warning that they will either have to make deep cuts to public health, child care, paramedic and other services — or issue a Doug Ford Tax Hike. Ford said he would avoid deep cuts, layoffs and tax hikes — now he's the cause of all three.

Good on our NDP MPP in Niagara Centre for welcoming these book worms, hosting their read in, and hearing their concerns about Ford's library cuts. Seniors deserve an MPP who hears them out, not one who calls the police to avoid it.

Doug Ford's cuts to ambulance and paramedic services and the Telemedicine Network put the health of Ontarians at risk. Clearly Ford was just making stuff up when he claimed no government employee would lose their job as a result of his cuts.
