Remembering the defence needs of both Palestine & Israel. May Australia provide defence support and gain defence capabilities by supporting both states.

When reading about Airbnb’s decision not to list settler-owned properties in the West Ban keep these three things in mind: 1. “The West Bank is not Israel,”

Zionists range across a diverse political perspective from anti-occupation Zionists to Greater Israel Zionists. They are chalk & cheese. Then there is a divergence within anti-occupation Zionists.

This is terribly short-sighted by the Trump Admin. It will do little to pressure Palestinian leaders to come to talks, will harm ordinary Palestinians, &most of all, deprive the US of a key tool to promote stability that benefits Israelis and Palestinians.

We all bring a select & biased knowledge to the conflict. You are fortunate to have lived in Haifa to have seen coexistence. I agree about Gaza. But life in WB is not good. Military law, settlements harm peace. Peace will come, but only when we see the other as a sister & brother

When one starts to use language that dehumanises another it is an indicator that one is on the path of prejudice & bigotry. Israel & 1967 occupied Palestine are two political entities that contain 13 million fellow humans of varied religious & humanist backgrounds.

Let’s all calm down lads with the finger pointing. If the left is to build, then constructive criticism is more helpful than denigrating another. We can do better than this.

In another time and another place English settlers offered peace to Scots, Irish, Indigenous Australians, Native Americans etc. but they rejected these peace plans and resorted to violence. Why was that? Why did Irgun use terrorism against the British? Humans resist control

The Holocaust is a blight on humanity. The systematic murder of 6 million fellow human beings for being Jewish is a low point in history. This said this was an act in Europe by Europeans. Please check my blog for further details.
