It is not a clear law-the President has flexibility. If B&W has a five or six mandate lead over Bibi then there will be a chance that Kachlon if he makes it changes sides. If B&W does no have a lead over Likud it will not happen. Also morally he will not be able to talk of mandate

I like every member of Haavoda’s list. It is the best list running for the Knesset. But any seat beyond number 4 for Avoda decreases the chances of replacing Bibi. So what is more important- great people with no power in the Knesset or replacing Bibi?

Sitting on my balcony catching up on my Twitter a woman passes below, I don’t know what to do she says on the phone, Meretz certainly not, no to Kachlon, do I vote for Gantz? She moves out of earshot.... The polls are useless, we will only know Wednesday morning.

I feel very much for them, but I would have felt the same next Wednesday. He was from my generation. I left Israel 6 months before the war but my unit went in. But If you believe this was all coincidence I have a Bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

They did not cover the press conference of Barak, Halutz, Uzi Arad etc, and there was not legal problem covering it- so no I do not think they will cover it. But maybe I am just cynical

Bibi is a brilliant political tactician. Tonight is Gantz’s big public rally in Tel Aviv at 19:30? Are the press going to cover it?No they will cover Bibi’s trip to Moscow and the funeral of a soldier who has been dead for 37 years. Brilliant for him, sad for the rest of us.

You have to credit Bibi with the power of an incumbent- a trip to Moscow just to have ceremony marking the return the body of Sgt Baumel. No one is talking about submarines despite a searing indictment by all of Israel recent (20 years) military leaders.

It sounds like the report coming out of Ethiopia will be devastating for Boeing. The pilots followed all procedures and were not able to regain control of the plane. A software fix is not going to do it I am afraid.

Barak is last, everyone agrees that the 6th sub and above was questionable, the corvettes were unneeded. As to the Egyptians we agreed for Germany to sell subs to them, but we never agreed to the advanced subs, we never allow our adversaries to get the best.

Dan Halutz I thought we needed only 3 Sharon agreed we needed 5 after recommendation from Def Min. The corvettes were born of sin, there is no need. For sure a purchase without A bid smells
