Thnx Sara though frustrating to see conversation reduced to fears about trans women. Not the forum. Judge high T women on their own terms.

Spoiler alert - covering CAS ruling tonight. Discussion became fixated on fear of trans women athletes. To be clear...

Double Olympic champion Caster Semenya won her last 800 metres race today before the introduction of controversial rules limiting testosterone levels in female athletes. This is what she had to say after the race. What a class athlete.

Time to trade in our testosterone-colored glasses & give the case against it a fair shake

Exactement. In South Africa last year I heard girls from rural areas are now afraid to pursue track and field in case they are targeted.

We may disagree on how to get there but at least we all want what's best for women's sport.

Dear 1. High T & trans women subject to distinct regulations. 2. Both groups of women are our sisters & friends and need more understanding and informed discussion. 3. Please leave transphobia at the door and judge and high T women on their own terms.

Ann Peel. Racewalking legend. Has the back of women with high T. "Semenya is a great, clean, female athlete" paying the price "for being too damn good at the sport she loves"

I don't try to be controversial. I get anxious about appearing in the media. I like to listen, not just speak. But I wrote this piece in solidarity with and other athletes with high T who are as much my sisters on the track as any other women.

With Caster Semenya’s historic appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport starting yesterday, I wanted to share a piece I wrote for SBS Zela in Australia during the Rio Olympic Games to remind us all that a change of heart is possible

Erik Olin Wright was a guardian for me here in Madison, WI, USA, so far from my home. A campus journalist asked today - "what do you hope is his legacy?" I found my answer in one of his blog posts... Love, period.

While driving through rural India, and I discussed the road to trans-inclusive women's sport for TCPFéminin . Many parallels b/w cycling and athletics including signs of positive change
