Guess we will have to wait and see whether Israel is forced to deal with the international consensus on a 2 state soln Arab Trump plan or continues to be isolated and risking internal breakdown over its own hubris as Palestinians grow further ahead of Jews from sea to the river.

Israel cannot have peace - either with itself or with Rest of World including the Jewish diaspora- while it dominates 7 m plus Arab Palestinians who now outnumber Jews from sea to river despite all the policies to prevent this demographic time bomb. Only a 2 state solution can.

Some points do not make sense. Phasing out coal is provincial while carbon tax federal. Re other coal or oil fired plants going to get same treatment. All big polluters can pass on their costs to some extent. Guess flexibility is required for a successful national carbon tax.

Both US mil and UN have asked Britain and other countries affected to repatriate their captured ISIS nationals and prosecute them in home countries if warranted.

There is no peace or normal relations for Israel or between Israel and the Arab Muslim world and the 137 countries that have recognized Palestine or like Canada have called for a 2 state soln, until the status of 7 mil Pals + refugees controlled and ruled by Israel is resolved.

Agree with goal but there is really no alternative to China policy that recognizes Beijing's sovereignty and Taipei Taiwan's full autonomy and limited role in international affairs. Declaration of full independence could be fatal misstep if (as) US not willing to defend Taiwan
