That's what I thought, too... it took a lot of work to move from Desmarais to Demararis?! I get Sara instead of Sarah a lot, too, but for some reason it just doesn't bother me as much.

I still get it in my dept too... been there 7 years. But, this was by far the most egregious misspelling. I always feel silly complaining about it and try to laugh it off but it definitely gets to me more than I admit.

Received an email from a university official processing with the worst misspelling of my name that I’ve seen to date (“Demararis”). I know my name isn’t common in these parts... but how long does it take to look at the form you are processing to double check the spelling?! Sigh.
