If Iran detains UK ships in the Gulf I can assure you all bets are off. The Assad Govt is plastered with sanctions, as is Iran & its oil exports (no waivers). We’re simply assisting our allies & upholding commitments. UK shipping isn’t sanctioned, it would be a baseless action.
