Art Journal Page – Little Bird

I wanted to create something that was a bit brighter and more cheerful for these dark, cold, frosty days we’re experiencing at the moment. I really enjoyed creating this page with its blues and warm tones. The bird ephemera image is the perfect addition to the page as the colours sit really nicely! I love it when a plan comes together!

Mixed Media Art Tag – J52 WK2 – Hope

Week 2 over at Journal52.com is “Hope”, so I thought I’d create a fun mixed media art tag using my new pointy finger digi sheet (see it here) and a corrugated cardboard tag. The tag is the same size as a No8 Ranger tag as I used one as a template.

Here’s the prompt for Week 2, click to enlarge and save it for later use!

To watch my start to finish process video of the creation of the tag, please click the YouTube image below. Don’t forget to thumbs up!

Art Journal Page – She Walks

On Today’s page, which is a quickie one, I’m playing with a new(ish) art journal collage digital download set from my website called “She Walks…” If you’d like more info on the digi kit, please click the image below.

I’m also playing with some Luscious Pigment Powders from IndigoBlu which they very kindly sent to me as a present!

The powders contain a binder so you can add water to make paints, add them to gel medium or embossing paste for a full on luscious colourful metallic sheen! You can also sprinkle them on your pages and add water for a cool, wicked watercolour effect. They’re a very versatile resource to have in your stash! Verdict: Mikey Likey!

If you’d like some more information on the Luscious Pigment Powders you can click the image above to visit the IndigoBlu website. They do ship internationally!
