Travel the 7 Seas - A Canvas Tutorial for Scraps'N'Pieces

Hello!  A new week starts, I hope it will be a marvelous one for all!
For those of you who follow my blog, it is no news that I am hooked on layouts. I rarely create something different than pages, for some reason. But today I do have something different to show and that is a canvas tutorial, made for the ScrapsNPieces blog.

Although this is just the 3rd canvas I have ever made, I thought to video the process for you to see what I'm doing! A really easy project, indeed, as you will see.  7 Dots Studio Destination Unknown is used here, as well as Finnabair's Mica Powders/Glass Glitter and 2 Crafty Chipboard. The music belongs to the Piano Guys (Waterfall - The story of my life - Desert Symphony)! I hope you like it!

This is the video

Most of the products I used to make this canvas, you can easily find at the ScrapsNPieces Store!

So that's all from me!  I hope you'll get inspired by my small canvas!

Have a fabulous week!

Amazing, wild blue

Hello everyone!

Today I enjoy the honour to be a guest designer at the awesome Bumaga-Maraka blog!!  I created a page with the current moodboard, which is JUST FABULOUS!

13 arts background pape and Bymaga-Maraka chipboard!

More details of my page you can see here.
 This is the October moodboard:

When I saw the moodboard, I was totally fascinated by it, because I am mainly a glitter-girl and this moodboard is full of gold! So it gave me the opportunity to work with golden flakes, gold mica powder and create much of texture on my page.  I was inspired by golden patterns of the down right photo, as well as the sparkling overall effect of the moodboard.

I will come back soon with a page for 7 Dots Studio! Have a lovely evening!

Important - a layout video tutorial for 7 Dots Studio

Good morning everyone!
September is leaving us soon and we are heading well into autumn (even though the weather here doesn't look like autumnal a lot)... I always feel a bit of relief when October comes, as my favourite season - winter - is close. So being in a good mood today I want to share with you my 5th video tutorial for 7 Dots Studio!

Finnabair's Mica Powders, a bit of mists, a couple of flowers & embellishments do the work!
I used the amazing "Lost & Found" Collection!

The elegant, fragile, touching music belongs to the OST of the "The Theory of Everything" movie (The Cinematic Orchestra - the arrival of the birds & Transformation)!  I love it and I thought it fitted my video perfectly, stylewise.

The theme of my page is something really important, that we women tend to forget: we don't have to be picture perfect!

Now this is the page

(closer details of my layout you can find at this 7 Dots Studio blogpost)

And my video tutorial, which I hope will help and inspire you

At this point I would like to say that, in the midst of the political turmoil that my homeland Greece has found herself into the last years and especially the last 6 months,  I have lost my mojo and inspiration many times.  And I have tried to draw inspiration from moodboards, challenge blogs, beautiful Pinterest photos, etc.

This time my inspiration came from this lovely, vintage

I got inspired by the vintage, delicate, elegant style, the earthy tones that are complimented by touches of pink, that I also used in my page. My choice for the background paper and handwriting stencil stemmed from the down middle photo, as well as the small roses came from the down left one.

So I hope you enjoy my video!  If there's anything you would like to ask me concerning it, please don't hesitate to!

Just fly - a layout tutorial for 7 Dots Studio

Hello everyone!
My 4th video tutorial is up on the 7 Dots Studio blog today!

Inspired by the theme of the photo, I built my page on the beautiful stamps and the amazing tags of the Thoughts Keeper Collection.  The layout talks about trusting in our wings to soar in the skies. We can't fly unless we accept ourselves and count our blessings.   What a liberating thought, to acknowledge everything we are given, trust it and move forward and upwards.  The music of this video belongs to Lindsey Sterling and her awesome violin skills.

The layout

and the video

I hope you enjoy and get inspired by my tutorial! If there's anything you would like to ask/comment/say concerning it, please feel free to contact me!  Thanks for watching!

Heart strings - a layout video tutorial for 7 Dots Studio

Hello everyone!
Today is my birthday and I thought to celebrate it with sharing my 3rd video tutorial for 7 Dots Studio.

This video shows how the following page was made

***more photo details of the page you can see at the 7 Dots Studio blogpost***

and here it is

Now first, let me tell you that I got inspired by the March Challenge of the Off The Rails Scrapbooking - its warm, earthy palette was irresistible!

So I created my background with Ecolines on a lovely Dreamer Collection paper and I adorned it with different embellishments.  Of course, the inspirational music that is heard in the video comes from The Piano Guys: Over the Rainbow & Arwen's Vigil.

Products used:

Dreamer - Sweet Dreams
UmWowStudio Mask

If there's something you would like me to clear up or you just wonder about, please feel free to contact me. Thanks for watching!

Simply beautiful - a video tutorial for 7 Dots Studio

Good morning everyone!!
5 reasons to be grateful today:
September is here,
temperature is cooling down,
schools are about to open here in Greece,
the traffic at the airport is starting to decrease (very slowly, but it is),

and.... this is the day I'm gonna show you my first ever video tutorial!!
It's made exclusively for the 7 Dots Studio and I hope it will inspire you!

A few words before you watch it:

The techniques I used are not my invention -
they are things I learned and developed via online courses and much practice.
This video is just about my own way of implementing those techniques.

The music of this video is from The Piano Guys, who have made renditions of Sergei Rachmaninoff's music and of Disney OSTs. Rachmaninoff has been my absolutely favourite composer since the early years of my adolescence, when I studied piano and many times, I create listening to his awesome, magical music. I also love the soundtrack of the "Frozen" Disney movie and this song has inspired me many times, as well.  So I thought to use the renditions of these two music pieces.

The theme of my page is the beauty of snowflakes. They are simply beautiful.
Nature Walk collection is one of the most versatile collections I have ever touched. Although brown and warm, it can even match with the winter and the snow!

So this is the page

And this is how I made it

Products used:
Nature Walk - Tags 12x12

I hope you will find my tutorial helpful and inspiring!  If you have any questions concerning this project, please feel free to email me or send a message through facebook!
