Quickie from us: "This is a great story, a mutual friend put us in touch with Cash Cash and they were literally wrapping up their remix package for their new single ‘Take me Home’ they said we had 3 days if we were interested to send some thing back and we had something we were proud of in 48 hours. The original tune was great, with awesome hi energy chords and amazing vocals by Bebe and a very evident upbeat feel to it that was irresistibly charming and we saw as a chance to show a different side of our production with a very happy house song so hopefully you all enjoy”

Quickie from a random fan email we got: “In Ancient Greece, the heroes were the ones who were brave enough to steal the strongest people's shit. Take from your rivals. And trick the Gods. But mostly just steal necklaces, swords, shields, and goblets. The basic principle: you need strength for recklessness. Do the Chainsmokers have a modern equivalent?”
.... best fan mail we have gotten yet...

First Tune of the year from us has gotta be a freebie right... Lets start 2014 off correctly you. Not only would we describe ourselves as curious and sensitive, but also generous BUT y'all make sure when #Selfie 2.0 comes out you go buy that shit... none of that soundcloud ripper, zippyshare business...

Quickie from us: "So we are MAJOR fans of TOVE LO's, in fact we are certain she is going to be a massive name in music VERY soon. So, Habit's her song has been a major hit of the last year and has seen some interesting edits, but nothing in the dance genre. Habits is one of those unique blend of feelings, its gangster, sexy, relatable, and fun... In fact we aren't quite sure why its not on the same level as Lorde's Royals... So with that in mind, we set out to create a song that complimented the vocals and the subject of the song but brought it into the club arena. The thing with our production lately is we are looking to close the gap between this big kick room house with the huge spacey middle and really melodic full progressive sound and combine it with our love for Indie emotion... its definitely challenging but we feel we are getting closer and closer”

Quickie from us... " Taking Baths while getting High is pretty great as the song suggests (Note: Guys shouldn't really take baths, or if they do, don't tell anyone about it..."

PLAYED BY @WandW on their 2013 BBC Radio 1 Pete Tong Essential Mix

Quickie from us: "So we actually finished this tune back in 2013 but have been waiting patiently to release it, and now that time has come. Pumpin Blood was a pretty massive tune for 2013 racking up over 1,000,000 plays and really putting NONONO on the map, who have since been blowing up internationally, so naturally we were honored to work with the talented swedish act. The song itself has so many interesting components between the verses and chorus' and who doesnt love a good whistle, its got a great sense of emotion. So during the making of this remix...... shit we cant remember we did it so long ago, fuck, whatever, but hey it has our signature pluck and we gave it a trap breakdown to spice it up a bit. Anyway, the tune has three distinct parts, and in approaching our music production now, we really want to think about the songs in terms of distinct parts to create a well quote unquote perfect whole... so we have our really emotional piano intro that pulls you in, then our sort of ectasy drop or whatever you call it, and then into this sort of thugged out trap part and then back into glorious... its a favorite of ours because we always try to create these engaging emotional aspects that draw you in and this song we feel really accomplishes that in each of its sections”

Quickie from some kid asking us to check out his music... " You Dawgz check out my hot original track 'dragons breathe', you guys better get on my level cause Im about to blow"

Quickie from us: "HOLY SHIT, FINALLY THIS FUCKING SONG IS OUT... This song was meant to be an Edit to promote a show we had at LIV in december. Initially we had Disclosure's 'Fire Starts to Burn' over the track and thought the drop was way to hot to use someone else's vocal. So we had this ridiculous idea to create a song around the concept of the #SELFIE. We really weren't sure if this was the most brilliant idea, or worst idea we ever had... So we had our home girl Alexis come over and within an hour we had 2 verses and the song done. At that point in time we thought it was hilarious but we were quite sure how it would be received, but seeing as we aren't pussbags and music is about experimenting and having fun, we put it out. 2 days later the song had 200k plays and about 1% negative feedback. So we went to Dim Mak who we always loved as a label and asked them if they were interested in it, if we went back in added a new verse and changed the drops. 6 Weeks later here we are, with an amazing Music Video compiled with all this great submitted #Selfies from Fans, Friends, DJS and Celebs. So we hope you all enjoy the tune as much as we did putting this whole project together. This is our first EVER Original release and it would mean the world to us if you all bought the song, shared the video and took #SELFIE video... ”

Quickie from us... "GO FUCK YOUR #SELFIE"

Vocal by ALEXIS KILLACAM

FUN FACT(s):
1) Every time we asked someone special for a #SELFIE they said yes, but then said they would send us one later like it was some chore, when all they had to do was turn their phone around on the device they were texting us from....
2) About 15% of the submissions we got from ppl involved Nudity
3) About 5% involved animals
4) #Selfie was named word of the year in the USA and The Netherlands...
5) Drew's loves describing the taste of water in different cities.
6) Shower Pressure is very important to Alex

#SELFIE

THE ONLY way you will ever get this song will be if you buy the Vinyl Record on April 19th (well sort of...also coming out on iTunes April 29th), which happens to be National Record Stay day as Adventure Club attempts to save the Vinyl Record Business with a very limited edition Vinyl release that will include this remix on it as well as some other exclusives...

Quickie from us: Well we love Adventure club and have admired them for a long time. the guys are personable, make great music and are pretty good looking... In many ways we feel we are the same haha jokes, but Adventure were one of the few artists who reached out to us when we started and were cool and supported our music, so when they hit us up about remixing Wonder our fav track off their last album we couldn't resist, that and we want to collab with them so we really had no other option. That said, we think the remix turned out great, we actually see a little bits of our previous work in it, little nods to Around us and Julian. In the end we hope we did the track justice infusing it with a tasteful amount of uptempo progressive house while still remaining true to our style."

Quickie from Adventure Club: "The Chainsmokers are like a better version of us... With their bigger dee's, better hair, and they make way more intelligent conversation and can easily out drink us on their worst day, We love them'

2) If The Chainsmokers and Adventure club were raffled off in a auction to raise money, The Chainsmokers would bring in more money
3) One time The Chainsmokers lent Adventure club money cause they are poor, and didnt even ask for the money back when they got rich...
4) Adventure Club may appear to be more popular numerically across all social media platforms but thats really some illuminati shit...

Available on 5/6/14

Quickie from us: "So for those who don't know Guy Sebastian is a pretty big name in Australia and soon will be in States. He won Australian idol and was a judge on the Aussie X-Factor. That beats the hell out of our Bio, dudes who made a song about #selfies and have 20 #1 Hypemachine songs, and can drink a bottle of Patron in less than an hour. Anyway, when Guy's ppl reached out to us about this song we were happy to lend a hand at a remix. We thought it was a nice departure from our usual stuff and would be fun to do something a little more pop based. The missions was clear, make a radio friendly remix that lent itself to the song and its vocals but keep it simple...'

Seriously though, Free Downloads bring us such joy! Nothing is worse than putting up a song that isnt available to you to DL... Drives us nuts..

Quickie From US- "So we discovered Anna of The North through one of our favorite music sites NME and the instant we heard it we were hooked. Its just such a fucking cool song and the production on it added such amazing layers of Incandescence... the song felt like it glowed and just oozed cool, we gotta use that word cool a lot cause it just feels so effortless and beautiful. So we reached out and asked for the chance to remix it and turns out just like the song Anna and Brady are just as cool... But for real this is one of the most fun times we had working on a remix. The song just lends itself so nicely to being reinterpreted.... Anyway check it out we sorta went with a more laidback vibe on this one like we did once upon a time on that Banks Remix we did... So light an L, cuddle up close to your girl or boy and enjoy this baby!"

PS - Go buy Kanye!

We remember the day our manager came into our studio aka drew's living room apartment to show us this new band he was going to sign to Disruptor Records. The first record he played us was this tune Overload and we were hooked! We had never heard of them before but we proceeded to listen to 10 more songs of theirs and we were blown away. Their sound was so refreshing from the instruments to their vocals. There was a summertime quality to all their music that couldn't be denied. Flash forward a couple months and we had the chance to meet them in LA. We proceeded to do what any dudes meeting for the first time would do, we through a mansion party at a buddies got totally blackout and missed the call time for what was our Let You Go music video. Flash even more forward and Overload is taking over top40 and they are about to drop their next single Dreams! The boys were cool enough to let us take a shot a remixing overload and putting our touch on it. The song itself is already just so amazing and vibey... its like drinking coconut water on a beach while getting a foot rub and someone somewhere else transferring large sums of money into your bank acct. SO we figured why change that and just change the foot rub to a back massage and money to a kiss from a chick you really are into but didn't know she was also into you.... So without further adieu... our remix of Overload!

Quickie From US: "So LOD is our fucking brothers you see... these dudes are total gems! Mark our words these guys are going to be absolutely massive by the end of the summer and we are proud to be their friends and supporters"

Music Video:
COMING SOON

----
So we know we have released a couple tracks since Roses, of which we all love, but we would consider this as our follow up to Roses. We consider this to be our most complete track and just like Roses came together in one session for the most part. We wrote this track with the talented Emily Warren who you might recognize from DLMD and with Scott. The trap sound is a custom sound we made using one of loupvcks soundpacks actually...haha shout out guys! and you can tell we were really feeling the XX vibes when did this and actually had JUST bought the electric guitar we used so we were really feeling it. On top of this all we were lucky enough to have Daya get involved who so talented and did an amazing job on the vocal! Just make sure you stick around till the 3rd drop!

We also just want to say thanks for the ongoing support! We cant believe our 2015 and we know we took a couple months off from releasing music, but we spent it working on so much new stuff so we hope you are ready!

Note from us: We played this as our encore song on our friendzone tour so some of you may recognize it!

FUN REAL FACTS
1) We actually finished this song entirely and our laptop crashed and lost everything. We mean literally everything... so we had to remake the whole thing
2) Alex is the first person to Dab on fallon #dabonfallon
3) We both just moved to LA... its dope
4) Our videographer Sam Kolder has a 10 pack...its weird...
5) For every human on Earth there are 1.6 million ants.

FREE DOWNLOAD – We are really running out of witty things to say...so, yes the song is free, we wouldn't dare to imagine charging $1.99, yet, but remember, when you are out with your extra $1.99 think, was the happiness this free download brought worth more than $1.99, maybe, maybe not.... either way go LIKE our page and ENJOY your FREE DL, and go take your savings, and buy yourself something special like Daft Punk

Note about the Song: We actually first heard the song via Monsieur Adi’s Remix and thought it was awesome but were curious to hear the original, so we checked it out and loved Say Lou Lou's original but thought there was still room for a really upbeat version with our progressive indie flare (we hate the word flare). What really appealed to us about Say Lou Lou was they have this renegade softness, its sorta punk but not, that makes no sense right, but there is sort of care-free beautiful nature to there voices and we thought we could make a summer anthem with this baby, or die trying (side note: at no point were we close to death in the making of this remix) So we got the stems, and wanted to create something that really screams 'let me in I want to fucking dance, but I also brought my own beer.' So here is how we did it:

                       SayLouLou x TheChainsmokers
-------------------------------------------------------- x Happiness = This Song

Quickie from us: "So its really great when coincidences and fate find each other, because that is what happened… We absolutely were in love with this summer anthem by smallpools, it reeked of fresh cut grass and the afternoon sun... So when their ppl reached out to us about doing a remix it was the easiest decision ever. We can't say it wasn't a challenge though with such a strong vocal, but we really wanted to pin it up against the classic 'house music pluck' we have been hearing so much of, but use it in a vain that felt a bit different but still large, but finding that union was tough in the sense the two had to warm up to each other rather than clash... but in the end we think we found this great atmosphere for the song to exist."
