TCCCB – Punches & Dies!

Hey Everyone! Can you believe it’s already December? And the 1st of the month means another challenge with The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog!

We want to see your punches and dies! This challenge lasts until the 14th of the month, so you have plenty of time to get in on the action.

The TCCCB team is lucky to work with three sponsors for this challenge and I’m lucky to be able to work with My Stitch Back in Twine Digi Designs.

I chose to work with Senorita Charlie. I think I was originally going to color her up in Christmas colors, but somehow I settled on green only and here she is! This card uses my beloved oval nestabilities as well as my MFT Bow Die and a MFT border die, whose name escapes me at the moment. I also stuck a punch in there, the oval for the sentiment.

And, I’m off to include this card in a few challenges:

You can play with us over at the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog from now through the 14th of the month. Come and check us out!

Crafty Time Challenge with MoonFlower

Happy December! For many families, December is such a busy month. That’s why Crafty Time should fit right into your schedule, seeing as you have 31 days to link your gorgeous project to our challenge blog.

And, our challenge makes it even easier to play! This month our challenge is:

Our sponsor this month is new to Crafty Time. A thankful welcome to MoonFlower digistamps. They’ve got a fantastic variety of digital stamps.

Here’s my project for you this month:

This image is Mistletoe Christmas. I colored her up and then realized she kinda looked like Elsa from Frozen. So, because I knew my 3 year old would be pleased as punch, I created this frozen inspired card.

I hope you find time in this busy season to create for yourself. If not, have a wonderful holiday and we hope to see you back here in January for our next challenge.

FTHS November Progressive Challenge

A couple months back I started doing the From the Heart Stamps Progressive image challenge. It’s alot of fun! You make a card with the image chosen for that month and the next month you get the image for free! FTHS has great quality images, so I’m trying very hard to keep up!

Cutting it close this month, but I did get this sweet “Deck the Halls Birdbrain” colored and carded up. Love how it turned out.

I admit, I was inspired by the FTHS sketch challenge as well, but I haven’t entered this guy in it because I may have drifted off the sketch a bit and it gives me an excuse to play again in the current sketch challenge.

Mystery Image Swap – Nov 2015

It’s my pick, it’s my pick!

I had to wait awhile this year for my turn as the Mystery Image Swap image picker (wow, that’s a mouthful). For 11 months, I’ve puzzled over which image I should select this year.  And even when it came down to the wire, ink pad waiting, I changed my choice at the last minute.

And the winner is….Penny Black “Mimi’s Christmas”!

Hope everyone else enjoys it too!

There’s one more month left in this swap and then we look forward into 2016. Can you believe it? I can’t wait to see who plays along next year, and what images they choose.

Riley & Company – Thanksgiving

Hey all. Thanks for stopping by today for our new Riley & Company Design Team Inspiration. This week, we’re giving thanks with our Thanksgiving creations.

Thanksgiving was a few weeks ago here in Canada. But, despite falling in a different month, I don’t think that it’s much different…family, turkey, and pumpkin pie! Yum. Here’s my card using the “Pumpkin Pie” sentiment. And since Lucy was whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, she got to go on the card too.

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Riley & Company Design Team’s blogs to see what fabulous creation they made for this weeks’ inspiration:

TCCCB – CAS with Food & Drink

Hey Everyone! Welcome to the November 15th challenge with The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog!

This challenge lasts until the end of the month and has a two part theme. We want to see your Clean and Simple (CAS) card with a Food and/or Drink theme. Isn’t that a mouthful?

We have two wonderful sponsors for this challenge. I was lucky to work with Art by Miran.

Art by Miran has a beautiful collection of digtal images on the page. I chose to work with this image, “Rolling By”.  I just love the vintage feel of this image. The sentiment was a custom one that chose to make for this card.

I’m also entering this card in the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog, which is (coincidently) also hosted by Art by Miran. The challenge theme is use a stamp/digi.

You can play with us over at the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog from now through the 30th of the month. Come and check us out!

Riley & Company New Release Day!

It’s finally here! New Release day is here and that means you can get your hands on the 26 new sentiments available in the Riley & Company store. 17 new Funny Bones (and boy, are they funny) and 9 new Inspirations.

You’re going to love these new stamps, so sit back and check them out. Today I have for you a sentiment I know is a favorite with the Design Team, because it’s been used a couple of times this week! I paired it with “Magician Riley”.

Don’t forget to stop by the other Design Team Members’ blogs! And, make a list of the ones that catch your eye because you’re going to have trouble choosing!

Thanks for sharing Inspiration Week with us and we look forward to seeing you in two weeks for our Design Team challenge where we challenge each other to make a project with a chosen theme.
