Jääkidest sall/Leftovers scarf

Mul on järel kahekordselt keritud peenikest Astro mohääri (100 g/1000 m, kahekordsena siis 100 g/500 m) ja Twin-nimelist meriinot (100 g/800 m). Panin kokku, vardad 5,5 mm, alustasin endale augulist salli.
I have some thin mohiar Astro, wound two strands toghether (100 g/1000 m, held double means 100 g/500 m) and Twin-named merino (100 g/800 m). I put them together, needles 5.5 mm, and started a scarf with holes for myself.

Edeneb kiirest, muster on juba tuttav. Tuleb üsna soe sall. Mul tekis mõte, kuidas seda mustrit veel modifitseerida, aga siis teen juba teise salli siledamast lõngast.
It is progressing quickly, the pattern is quite familiary. It will be a rather warm scarf. I have an idea of some modifications of the pattern but this will be another scarf from a smooth yarn.

Sviitreid/Some sweaters

I still do not have good pics of the textured sweater, I will post only one.

The mohair sweater is progressing, I have both sleeves by now.

Uus/New

Uus on tegelikult üsna vana, aga lihtsaid õhukesi mohäärisviitreid pole kunagi liiga palju.
New is actually quite old but there are never too many light mohair sweaters.

Tegelikult praeguseks on kaenla alla tekkinud oma 10 cm. Jätkan veel mõnda aega ja siis teen varrukad.
Actually, about 10 cm has been added to this. I am going to carry on for some time and then start the sleeves.

Sai valmis/Finished

Sviiter sai valmis. Väljas on kehv ilm, valgust on vähe, seetõttu esialgu selline pilt.
The sweater is finished. The weather is lousy and there is almost no light, thus, only this picture for starters.

Kuna muster on sooniku põhine, siis kududes tundub, et töö on väga kortsus ja kole. Pärast niisutamist ja pingutamist on koepind aga väga ilus. Vaatamata sellele, et lõng on must, muster on hästi nähtav.
Whereas the stitch pattern is based on ribbing, it seems while knitting that the work creases a lot and is ugly. After washing and blocking the fabric turns rather beautiful. Regardless the black colour, the stitch pattern has a great definition.

Must sviiter/A black sweater

Esiteks pole musti sviitreid kunagi liiga palju. Teiseks, tegin kevadel tumehallist leedu villasest sellise sviitri (õpetus on Ravelry). Mõnele ei meeldi üldse oma disaine korrata, aga mulle meeldib teha seda väikeste modifikatsioonidega.
Fist, there are never too many black sweaters. Second, in Spring I made this sweater (pattern on Raverly) from dark grey Lithuanian wool. Some designers stronlgy dislike repeating their designs but I like to do it with small modifications.

Niisiis, lõng on teistsugune, villase ja polüamiidi segu ja pisut peenem (100 g/400 m). Kalkulatsioon on ka teistsugune, kuna kudumistihedus on erinev. Otsustasin vähemalt praegu, et ei tee kõrget kraed.
So the yarn is different, a wool and polyamide blend and somewhat thinner (100 g/400 m). I had a different calculation because of the difference in gauge. I decided at least for now that I am not making a turtleneck collar.

 

Mõlemad varrukad on valmis, kaelus on viimistletud, nüüd tuleb alla kududa.
Both sleeves are completed and the neckline is finished, now it is just knitting downwards.

Mul on vaja veel paar rida kududa ja saabki valmis. Vaatame, kuidas see meriinolõng (Record, BBB Filati, 50 g/175 m) käitub pärast niisutamist ja pingutamist. Peaks veel endale tegema sellise lambavillase.
I have to knit a couple of rows more and then it is finished. We shall see how this merino wool (Record, BBB Filati, 50 g/175 m) behaves after soaking and blocking. I need one such scarf for myself from lamb wool.
