Overall Security Score
Each user in the console has an average security score. The user average
security score is calculated by adding all the individual security scores and
dividing by the number of categories. For example, a user may have a 75% Record
Password Strength score, a 50% Unique Record Password score, a 100% Two Factor
Authentication score and a 98% Master Password Strength score. This user's
average security score would be (0.75+0.5+1+0.98)/4=0.795 or 79.5%. The overall
Security Audit Score is calculated from the average security score of every
user. The score adds all individual user's security scores and divides it by
the number of users.
StrongMediumWeakRecord Password Strength
This is the percentage of strong record passwords for all users. For example, a
user has 4 records with 3 strong passwords and one weak password. The record
password strength score would be 3/4 or 75%. The combined score is calculated
by adding the number of all strong record passwords for all users divided by
the total number of record passwords for all users in the entire console.
UniqueReusedUnique Passwords
This is the percentage of unique record passwords for all users. For example, a
user has 10 records with passwords, 3 records have an identical password so 8
passwords are unique and 2 record passwords are reused passwords. Or the user
may have 2 records with a different reused password in which case still 8
passwords are unique and 2 records have reused passwords. The indicated value
would be 8/10 or 80% for that one user. The combined score is calculated by
adding all user's individual scores and divide by the number of total users.
StrongMediumWeakMaster Password Strength
The Master Password Strength is an indicator for how strong a user's Master
Password is based on a percentage from 0% to 100%. The overall Master Password
Strength score indicates the percentage of Master Passwords considered Strong
for the entire group. So the number of strong master passwords for all users in
the group are counted and divided by the total number of users in the group.
For example, let's assume a group of 100 users. 90 users in the group have
Master Passwords that are considered Strong. The overall Master Password
Strength would show as 90/100 or 90%.
OnOffTwo-Factor Authentication
This is a binary option, On or Off which maps to a 0% or 100% score for each
user. The total score is calculated by adding the scores for all users and
divide it by the number of total users.
