ITUNES TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The Graphic Novel

R. Sikoryak and TERMS AND CONDITIONS Profiled in the New York Times!

With TERMS AND CONDITIONS in stores now!

“For his new graphic novel, “Terms and Conditions,”…Mr. Sikoryak (who often signs his work “R. Sikoryak”) upped the difficulty level for his long-term conceptual project: Instead of abridging a book, he lifted the complete text of Apple’s mind-numbing corporate boilerplate, which users must agree to before accessing iTunes, and mashed it up with art invoking more than a century of comics.”—NYT

Sorry, that’s not exactly covered in the Terms. You should consult the Apple website.

This is not really a question, but I love the idea! Can I also suggest Randall Munroe, Kaja Saudek, Stepan Mares and Josef Lada as comics styles (you can easily google them to get the pictures).

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ve completed the Terms, but maybe I can incorporate those artists’ styles into a future project.

Hey, have you noticed that Apple apparently borrowed/appropriated your idea at WWDC and made a comic book of their App Store Review Guidelines? I'd post a link, but it doesn't let me.

Yes, a few people mentioned that to me.

Does this project exist in a format that could be exhibited at a university gallery?

Sat, 18 Jun 2016 08:20:30 -0400

Yes, it was exhibited last year at Muhlenberg College: http://www.muhlenberg.edu/main/aboutus/gallery/pastexhibitions/itunestermsconditions/
