Tampa

This is a story of excellent customer service. My fiancé and I wanted to have a special date before we become husband and wife, so he made a reservation at Ulele. We got there early, so we got a drink at the bar and waited for the text that our table was ready. We were seated right at our reservation time. And then we just sat there. For 25 minutes. Without a single employee saying hello to us. We were passed time and time again without a smile, eye contact, or hello. No server greeted us and no asked if we had been helped. Hungry and thirsty, we decided to leave. On the way out we asked to speak to the manager, not to be mean or rude, but just to let him know why he had an empty table. As soon as Garrett told him that we had been sitting for 25 minutes without service, his jaw dropped and he immediately asked for the opportunity to make it up to us by staying and enjoying dinner taken care of by him. We were ushered back to our table and given top notch service with delicious food the rest of the evening. It is not that we were looking for a free meal, honestly we felt awkward about it. But we did appreciate that this highly rated restaurant did everything they could to make up for their bad first impression. We will be retuning sooner rather than later and look forward to a truly wonderful experience.

Delicious food and drinks at an affordable price - right in the heart of Tampa's historic Ybor City. The breakfast is delicious and affordable (now served daily from 7AM-11AM) - get some biscuits and gravy for only $5.95! Sunday Brunch also offers champagne and vodka for bloody marys, mimosas, and screwdrivers with a buffet that has smoked salmon, seared ahi tuna, lobster salad, seafood lasagna, cinnamon rolls, a carving station, raw bar, and more for only $39.95. Some places are $8-12 just for one mimosa so it's a steal.

We had MDF for our wedding in St Pete a couple weeks ago and I'm still dreaming about them. Not only were they easy to work with but the dessert was a highlight for all our guests. I've been to around 200ish weddings and I'm proud to say this made for a pretty unique dessert for our guests. We admittedly over-ordered but they doughnuts were put out at brunch the next day and were still delicious. Thanks MDF team! See you guys next time we are in FL!

My husband comes to Tampa for business ever so often and he has been telling me about the Donut Burger and I've been wanting to try it ever since he told me about it! I was intimidated at first sight of it, but oh man was it amazing!!! We also got the Dachos for the appetizer and WOW again! I LOVED it! The donuts and other desserts looked beautiful and delicious as well!! We had our 2 toddlers with us so we had to run after eating and weren't able to get any dessert, but I want to go back!

Had a blast here on Pride 3/25/17, I'v been gone for over ten years and Tampa will always be home to me. Glad Bradley's and Ybor have made the hood ours in many ways. Great to see Joey Brooks again after so many years as well.

I recently attended a party there this passed sat.(3/25) It was my first time going, and I assure you it wont be my last thanks to our server " Margo Victoria Lopez ". I showed up early, and was the first one there. I got introduced to Margo, who was going to be our server for the night. I was telling her how this was my first time here as she walked me up to our bays. She explained everything to me, and after sat next to me and talked for 5 min until another couple arrived. It was really thoughtful of her to do that, so I wasnt sitting by myself. Through the night, not one of us had to go look for her or wait on refills. She was really on top of things and by far the best server ive had in a long time. So next time you go, I would highly suggest you be in her section.

My girlfriend and I made a last minute decision to fly up from Grand Rapids, Michigan to visit and ring in the New Year 2017. We actually found Sailport through a great deal on Expedia, it sounded nice and the price was right so we booked a room for 3 nights, we are so happy we did! The staff were awesome and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, but last but not least, the view facing the bay was amazing, especially the sunsets. We had one of our best vacation experiences and will highly recommend Sailport to others.

Stayed for a work function. Check in was seamless and the staff was wonderful about accommodating some of our last minute requests to be together in the Casita area. The casita was very nice. Clean, comfy, and well appointed. I loved the resort feel of the casita area. The pool is on one end with a boardwalk to the bay, restaurant and bar and the tennis courts are at the other end with the casitas in the middle. With our group on several casitas it was great so would definitely recommend the casita option for a group because you have your own space but you're close. The fire pit area by the bay is really nice, as are the hammocks, boardwalk, etc down by the bay. My daughter also took advantage of the onsite kayaking and had a great time. Restaurants: Oystercatchers is pricey and service took a long time. They also added a service fee AND tip to everyone's bill which always seems tacky to me. I didn't check out Armani's because I had my daughter (12) with me and I heardthat it wasn't kid friendly. 1823 was my favorite of the onsite restaurants. It's in the tower and it's an easy walk from the casitas. The servers there were all very friendly and accommodating. Extreamly professional and food was great. Fish tacos were really good and my daughter said that her hamburger was the best ever. Our server was Kenny and he was amazing. Overall the place is great. Some of us have already talked about coming back for a trip, and requesting that future work functions be booked there.

The layout of the place was great, modern and stylish. Food was good, my daughter didn't like her simple egg, bacon and toast, said it tasted funny,but the rest of our food was good. Coffee was brilliant, great flavor. Our server was a little prickly, maybe she was having a bad day. To be honest the star of the place was the beautiful older lady cleaner in the toilets. She had a smile the size of Tampa, opened the door for me, very friendly and helpful, she just seemed that she loved her job. On our way outside we bumped into her when she got off work, even on the street she remembered us and smiled and said goodbye. What a wonderful staff member who probably gets overlooked all day long.

Really nice open space next to Tampa Museum of Art. Great view of river, nice long walkway along the river with plenty of neat stuff look at, a doggy park area, a splashpad fountain area and really cool playground for the kiddos. Clean bathrooms and a great hotdog cart. We were visiting from Ft Lauderdale and went with a local who hadn't been before either. We all enjoyed it! Also jumped on the water taxi right there and rode all up and down the river. Definitely recommend :-)

My grandkids love this park. For those concerned about the homeless, this park is part of a revitalization project in an economically depressed area. It provides an outstanding recreational outlet, especially for local kids with nothing else to do. Like any place you take your children, you need to be present with them and attentive. As for the homeless, try volunteering for some of the programs that serve them meals. Most of them are very interesting and kind people. But I would watch my children (now grandchildren) with the same vigilance around homeless people as I would around any else. Evil is neither inherent in nor limited to the homeless. Let your kids play with kids outside their demographic. All will learn and benefit.

My friend and I loved the Hubble I Max experience. Going on the roof was great however, it was a long line to get our wine so by the time we got to the snack table there were only a few morsels left. Everyone after us didn't get any cheese. Only dessert left, I asked if more snacks were available and they said No. Very strange that our ticket included snacks and yet when 1 plate of cheeses were gone that was it! 1/2 the guests were 'out of luck' ...then we go down the ramp to leave, then some stairs, locked out so we go back up the stairs and still locked out at those doors too! We had to call the # on the door to get in, really strange and it wouldn't have too bad but my friend has a little bit of a hard time after her stroke, then a car accident, so walking is challenging, but she's a trooper! All in all we loved it but definitely room for improvement ~

My sister-in-law spontaneously recommended that we go. It was also going to be free because it was the first Tuesday of the month. I did not figure that it would be such a fantastic place for the kiddos to interact and explore. The staff were friendly & the place is clean. I wouldn't mind doing a birthday party at this location it's on the third floor and the view of Tampa would be fantastic! Our kids range from the ages of 10 - 2 years old and there was something for everyone. I have to add that do to the fact it's on the Riverwalk you can continue your day with the kids grab a bite to eat and enjoy walking along the water and seeing the beautiful city of Tampa. So with this rave review you know that we will be returning!

I have always loved Nordstrom. I feel they deliver good customer service. Most of the time. But Ashley at the MAC counter hits it outta the park. Every time I am there I feel she goes outta her way to make each customer myself included feel special. Even though she works the MAC counter she is always willing to help me and anyone else anywhere in the store and if she doesn't know a lot about a particular item, she will find someone who does. Ashley is always, always, always, sincere, kind and courteous.

It was a well organized event. A lot of different things to look at and buy. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star � rating was because the candle places were burning scented candles and it was just too much for me. I left with a huge headache.

My family and i make this outing an annual event. It was 80 degrees and sunny the day we went. The lines were short and the Coca cola was cold. We had a really good time. As for the smoking mentioned in other reviews, get over it. My biggest pet peeve is when trying to have a nice dinner in a nice restaurant and having to put up with screaming kids at the next table with a parent that refuses to remove the child from the table to calm them down. Its this disease that is going around. You know the one, its called the " I dont give a shit about others, its all about me" disease. People inflicted are the smokers, the line cutters, the parents with misbehaved children, and the parent who have a crying child but are so wrapped up on their glass of wine, that they dont care about other ppl around them. And yes i am a mom, but i have the common decency to remove my child from the area and tend to their needs.
