Los Angeles

Growing up in Los Angeles and downtown being a very important part of my childhood in the 1970's ( We always attended The State, The Los Angeles, The Tower movie theaters and ate at Clifton's afterwards ) I was so excited to finally visit Clifton's again after 30 plus years with my girlfriends since we were seeing a play at the Orpheum Theater... Yes it was different but I loved it. The food was yummy ( I had sliced turkey , stuffing , mac and cheese and cranberry sauce ) I'm glad I didn't order dessert because I was too full from the meal... Everyone was so nice and all my friends enjoyed their food too. I will definitely return with my husband and it won't take 30 plus years ☺️

Everything about this restaurant was a 5 star except for the service. Our server was nice but very slow and did not check up on us often, food drinks etc. took forever and at the end she was sitting down doing her side instead of running our payments for us when we had seperate checks, some other guy did the payment for us and took forever as well and he didn't seem to know what he was doing. Other than than restaurant is beautiful and drinks are bombbbb! I had the strawbernini, pineapple mojito, and Cadillac margarita. The food was delicious as well the lobster/crab ravioli, calamari, and shrimp alfredo. We also got to see some of the cast members which was exciting scheena, James, Ariana, and we got to meet Lala she was so sweet and gorgeous. Would definitely come back here

I checked out the second stage at the Hotel Cafe for the Monday Monday showcase last night, and I was really impressed both with the quality of the show and the venue itself. Standout qualities include a classy space that's intimate but not cramped (at least not last night), really great sound (and mix by the show's host, Joel), a bar that's within arms reach wherever you are in the room, and a crowd of patrons who seem to care more about music than their arm candy or iphone. Five stars.

Ok first of all I fucking love the Lash and everything they represent and are about!!!! The staff is very hospitable and friendly, the service is excellent, the vybz are chill and amazing , and the music and djs are live and bomb af. I absolutely love coming here and I definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to have a great time, meet new and fabulous peeps, and everyone who is tired of the basic ass discriminatory elitist shitshow on spring street and hollywood boulevard. I LOVE YOU SARAH!!!! Xoxo

It was an honor to be celebrating the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star with New Edition! I have loved New Edition since I was 11 yrs.old! They have the most humble spirits and they love their Fans and their Fans love them! They didn't expect the turn out that they got for New Edition Star Ceremony but people traveled from all over the world to witness this historic event. It didn't matter that it was Cold, raining, and heck I even got sick but I wasn't missing this historic event! New Edition deserve this Star! This is a group that has been in full effect for over 33 years. Went on to do solo projects and still traveled as a group. Although I have only meet 3 out of 7 member which are Ron DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, Bobby Brown! I look forward to meeting the other 4 members Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Johnny Gill and Brooke Payne. So I say Congratulations New Edition, RonDivas love y'all for life!

Man was it beautiful. The figure are all so life like it's jarring! My only complaint is the hokey marvel show at the end, and more relevant to the tour, that some of the figures were a little worse for wear. Tom Hank's hand in particular was looking pretty bad, with a noticeable layer of dirt and some chipping. Hope the figures get the tlc they deserve

I really enjoyed the Dia De Los Muertos festival at Grand Park and I hope they continue to have it every year. I like that they kept it traditional and did not turn it into another Hollywood Halloween festival. So many other Dia De Los Muertos festivals have done this and it is so sad. Grand Park is a place to relax and educate yourself in art, other cultures an many other things.I also enjoyed the pow wow event that was held on November 5th. I really learned a lot at both events. It would be great if the Park could have performers that play some of the traditional old Jarocho music from the Gulf of Mexico at the next Dia De Los Muertos festival. Thank you for all the great events that are held at the park!! Everyone really enjoys them!!

A beautiful oasis in the city! I absolutely love this park! The flowers and trees are in bloom and the views of Los Angeles are stunning. Great hiking for all ages, an awesome interactive map inside the information center to learn about the park plus a lovely pond with a flowing river and waterfalls makes the ambiance that much more special. If you're lucky, you'll catch a catfish or some trout or possibly spot some adorable turtles popping their head out of the water. Great for kids! There is lots of space to play, multiple playgrounds, basketball courts, toss a frisbee overlooking the Hollywood Sign or picnic in park, etc. This is one place not to miss!

We came for the dinosaur and the gem exhibits and we were not disappointed in either! The garden was a lovely place for lunch and wade in the fountain. Our ages ranged from 4 to 48 and we all had a fantastic time. It's even better than I remembered from my own childhood. I would like to note one of the things that added to our enjoyment was the fantastic attitude of everyone there, from the funny, pleasant young people working the parking booth, the patient lady who answered my every question while I figured out which ticket to buy, the helpful gift shop staff, to the knowledgeable and engaging docents, everyone was wonderful.

Super cool location centered across from The Los Angeles Flight. Plenty of amazing options for snacks and food to go as well a plenty of bars to sit at not only for food but drinks and booze as well. Produce as far as the eye can see along with local vendors. Great spot to grab a bite for your lunch when at Jury Duty. Bel Campo Meat Co was a highlight. I work concierge in Santa Monica where they have their butcher shop and restaurant. Well the burgers sold here at the counter don't come anything short of juicy and amazing. I would definitely take a keep inside the market place whether you are looking for a snack. A beer. Lunch or some candy. It's all here.

I've loved this place since back when it was just a twinkle in the eye of a crusty, but well-read skid row. there used to be great art parties in that space... bustling with adventurous peeps excited by the latent energy of downtown LA. now I'm pleased to see the space occupied by such a stylish & integral venue. the spirit of art & information is very much alive in that space. I'm happy to set foot in there as often as I can.

Beautiful venue in the heart of Hollywood, and none of those Latte-sipping hipsters knew what hit them after Sleep's performance on night 2 of their LA shows with the Melvins. After 14 long years, I finally got to see one of my favorite doom metal bands perform live. If you've never heard of Sleep, take a couple minutes and liven up your day, even if you don't like stoner metal. If you've never seen them live, buy a ticket. (If you can afford all that weed and alcohol, you can afford a ticket.) Their live performance is/was so profoundly heavy to where it would require forklift to mobilize. And NO stage production whatsoever!!! Too cool.
