It seems like summer is currently taking a break. But no worries, Maison La Bougie is here to bring back the scent of summer. The Paris based manufacture creates scented candles with such tantalizing names like La Mer (a reminiscence of saltwater, Monoi, sun and a hot umbrella) or La Piscine (a reminiscence of water from the pool, palm leaves and suntan oil). And all wrapped up in the most beautiful packaging!
Lace and stripes. I guess I would wear every single piece from this Matin loobook. The Sydney based label focusses on classic style, with natural fabrications. Via the lovely Miss French.
I’m so happy that my knee is getting better day by day, though I’m not allowed to go for a run yet. Instead I’m spending a lot of time in the gym to get my muscles back. I was looking for some new gymwear – here are my favourites: Ivy Park Top // Love Stories Sweat Pants // Nike Performance Dual Fusion TR 4 Trainers // It works: Blackroll // Polar Pink Fitness Watch // adidas Originals Leggings // adidas Originals Light Jacket // Ivy Park Coral Shorts // Ivybands Trail Edition Headband

I’m heading to Italy tomorrow and I could really kick myself that I haven’t managed it yet to buy a TRUSS bag to carry my stuff to the pool! Handwoven by artisans in the vibrant Oaxaca region of Mexico the TRUSS totes are a testament to the brand’s contemporary style and ethical ethos.
As we all know: nothing beats a cashmere sweater. It’s a perfect basic. But boring, somehow. The Istanbul based label Cashmere in Love creates contemporary sweaters beyond classic cuts and colors. Reinterpreting luxury by melding the concepts of East and West, tradition, modernity, and contemporaneity, the Cashmere in Love style is led by signature cleancut shapes and architectural lines. And I want one.
French designer Justine Clenquet creates choker necklaces, chains and creole earrings with a provoking mixture of punk and elegance. All pieces are handmade in France.
I love pretty much everything in this Swedish apartment, I discovered at Wrede… the grey coloured walls and blah… BUT tell me – how insane is this pink bedroom ceiling?
While we all spread emojis everywhere, I often found myself wondering what’s coming next. Maybe this new app is the hotness: Mipsapp is the perfect way to whip your pics into artsy collages.
After I fell for the Bell Side Tables, ClassiCon wows me again. This time with an object of unusual crystalline elegance and astonishing geometry: the Pli Side Table, designed by French designer Victoria Wilmotte. The bends and folds that gave Pli its name almost make the stainless steel base look like an oversized finely polished precious stone. It is available in four different colour versions with a green, blue,´bronze or black shimmer. Available for example at Qvest.
Since I first wrote about Ports 1961′s stunning collection and their amazing signature bow detail shoes last year, my heart is beating for those cute slip ons with a twist. Now other labels have jumped on the bandwagon… here are my favourites (some are expensive, but some quite affordable):
When in Paris, you should definitely consider to stay at the newly opened Hotel Panache. Located on the corner of rue Faubourg Montmartre and rue Geoffroy Marie, the Panache is quintessentially Parisian. Imbued with a strong character, it confidently assumes its quirkiness. Relentlessly attentive to style, of its 40 guest rooms designed by Dorothée Meilichzon, spread over seven floors, no two are identical, yet all share the same color scheme - navy blue, forest green, and anthracite grey on white – that adorns walls hung with brass picture rails.

&tradition has launched two iconic lamps by Verner Panton in contemporary new colours during Salone Del Mobile in Milan – the Flowerpot and the Topan Pendant – and I’m pretty sure he would have been very satisfied.
The Flower Pot, which became synonymous with the Flower Power movement from the late 60s is now available in white, black blue, deep red, grey beige and polished brass, amongst others. The colour schemes vary between the FlowerPot Pendant Lamp VP1, the larger Pendant Lamp VP2 and the FlowerPot Table Lamp VP3.
The Topan, originally designed for Norway’s Astoria Hotel and Restaurant in Trondheim, is now available in glossy versions of white, black blue, deep red, grey beige and dark green. Wherever you place the Topan Pendant, the global shape will emit a gorgeous glow adding a cosy factor to any environment.
