A young Israeli man absconds to Paris to flee his nationality, aided by his trusty Franco-Israeli dictionary.
Great film that deals with the issue of identity in a most original and intriguing way. As an Israeli living abroad, I got connected to the film on a personal level. I saw a dozen or so film this year at the Berlinale, and this one was by far the most deserving of the Golden Bear. I highly recommend it.
