Goofs

Throughout the series dead bodies are depicted with extreme inaccuracy. People often return to corpses that have been sitting for more than a week yet the bodies have little to no decomposition, no presence of maggots or rot, and a complete lack of rigor mortis. Limbs are easily manipulated, breasts jiggle when long-dead corpses are moved, and in general it is glaringly evident that the actors portraying dead bodies are anything but. See more »

A horrible show
10 August 2015 | by – See all my reviews

Bad writing, poor directing and a plot so stupid I think the cast demanded to be killed off so that they wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. It's as though "Jeremiah" and "Under the Dome" had a child after hate sex, and it was possessed by demons. Not just one demon, mind; several demons who have no idea what the other hell spawn are trying to achieve. The basic conceit of the show is that a disease has hit a small Canadian farming town, killing everyone over the age of 22. Why 22, you ask? Given that there is nothing in human physiology that could possibly trigger the deadly effects seen here, who knows? I guess the writers didn't care. There is actually one character who is 21 when the show starts, who dies on her 22nd birthday, with no explanation. When they finally do try to explain the plot, the explanation makes no sense at all and just makes the guy telling the story look stupid and evil. Worse though, not one of the characters in this show is sympathetic. They are all prissy, mean-spirited, or dim witted, so it is hard to care what happens to them. Don't watch it. I already took the bullet for you.
