It is Mother's Day at Wisteria Lane.
In this episode entitled "Mother Said",Susan gets a surprise visit from her mother-in-law Adele, who happens to be very critical of her.As for Lynette, she is pushed to the limit by her stepdaughter Kayla, who is threatening her to break the family apart.Meanwhile,Gabrielle finds cocaine under the bed of Ellie, whom she allowed to rent a room in her house. With regards to Bree and Edie, both got into each other and thing turn ugly after the truth came out.
Marcia Cross and Nicollete Sheridan, who portray Bree and Edie respectively, put up a great performance when they argue with one another. Also,it was somewhat interesting to see the other women in Wisteria Lane - Susan,Gabrielle and Lynette - gave Edie a cold shower which was definitely hilarious and the funniest part of the episode. As for the others, the story lines provides not really a major impact except the fact that there will be a lot of tension in Lynette and Tom's marriage and Gabrielle found out that her tenant happens to be dealing drugs.Overall,it was still a good episode but not a great one.
