First time visiting for me and my niece. We are native of Houston and always wanted to try this restaurant but due to living so far out we didn't think it was worth the drive. Boy were we wrong!! My niece had the chicken and waffles while I had the fried catfish and grits with biscuit and eggs. I also ordered the karmel makkhiato. This drink taste way better than what Starbucks sell. The food was so amazing and so good. Service was excellent, the line was long but it moved very fast. The food was brought out to our table fast as well. We definitely will be going back.

My fiancée and I eat out often, at least once a week. Today we visited cuchara for the very first time. Food was great and authentic, keep in mind there are plenty Mexican restaurants in Houston if you think otherwise. The ambience was what we liked the most! Amado, who showed up at the bar, where we sat, was great! He seamed genuinely happy to be there. Before coming in we read a review that mentioned a "rule card" and were curious since we are planing to have kids soon. All I have to say is educate your kids at home and they will be welcomed everywhere!!

I had the breakfast � potatoes which are amazing ! Also the cheese danish with blueberries and clotted cream OMG! I had a tip from the workers come at 7 when they just get them out of the oven !

Of all the milk tea and tapioca places in Houston, this is hands down the best one. Everything is organic and the service is excellent. The extensive food menu is also quite impressive and I haven't had anything that I didn't like yet. No wonder they're always busier than the other spots.

Good dj. Been coming here 17 years. It takes an open mind though to like this place. A lot of people i have brought here think it is strange and awkward. Fridays night's are best- Classic Numbers". A lot of industrial 80's & remixes & modern music that has that sound. No cheesy 80's like "99 balloons on the wall"- � Saturdays are okay but more for people heavy into the goth scene. Also good concerts here.

I'm from Houston and we spent the weekend here for my girlfriend's birthday. We had a great time, it's the perfect place for a "staycation". If you like to smoke when u drink be aware that the whole floor with the river, pool and bars has no section for you to have a smoke which didn't make sense to me. You have to go all the way down to the lobby and then out across the street in wet clothes. It seems like they would designate a smoking area since it's outdoors and there's a bar, it was aggrivating.. I recommend going to the bar for your beverages though or you'll be waiting around for 30 minutes for one drink.. Makeup​ sure you bring your wallet cause​ everything is marked up(7/beer, 12/mixed drink) as you'd expect, worth the money though and it's a must see if your a houstonian or touring

Great hotel they had a special for Pride weekend. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable clean sheets nice room bathroom is very big. Very good customer service in the lobby they had cookies and lemonade for guests. This hotel has a bar in the lobby. Only bad thing you have to pay for parking $36 dollars to park at hotel. And swimming pool closes at 10pm it's early. Overall I recommend this hotel to stay in.

This is an awesome facility for Veterans. They are so friendly & awesome. They're treating me well with my knee surgery n afterwards. Looking forward to have future employment with after I'm able to go back to work. Y'all are the best and thanks again. God Bless all of veterans that have served or are serving and people the people are helping us

We loved our family trip here! You don't need to necessarily get there early, like right at open, but you should go with at least 3-4 hours to spare or even more. I wish we would've had more time to explore the area. My 8 yo daughter loved it! Quick tip: we went on a Sunday which was just as fun, but an employee mentioned that if you go on a weekday, you can watch the engineers at work and possibly see the astronauts train in some of the buildings 👍🏼 All in all it was fun. Can't wait to plan another trip out there maybe in the fall when it's not 105 degrees outside lol

Great area for families day or night! We have gone to several events at discovery green including the fireworks for the 4th of July, the NFL Experiernce and the Cirque event if not for the kids to play in the water. Always have a great time! Parking can be pricey during an event but we found parking for $5 at a secured garage across the street from the park.

A beautiful modern building frames the garden as you walk up. Once inside I took a stroll to see all of the native flowers and plants. I wandered into the vegetable garden which had some varieties I'd never seen and I also discovered a gourd vine which was loaded with gourds. I walked to the top of the mound and the breeze at the top was a relief from the heat. The view is spectacular as well. Oh the arid garden was my favorite with Agave and Barbados dream and other drought tolerant ground cover it was lovely. Most of the lawns look like smooth blankets of grass, I'm not sure how they keep them so beautiful.

I always love the butterfly exhibit. It is still amazing after all these years. I'm a bit disappointed with the basement children's area. There used to be a lot of hands on activities especially for primary aged children; even kids that weren't great readers or whatever. Now it seems more centered on 6 year olds to preteen. Which is fine, but now kids 5 and younger don't really have much to do down there. The children's area by the butterfly area is nice but still doesn't have a lot to do for younger kids. The exhibits - permanent and touring are awesome. The fabrege, the dinosaurs are all really excellent. But I'm sad my kid can't enjoy the kids area in the basement til he's 3-4 years older. Bummer.

Really enjoyed the Mexican Modernism exhibit, although there could have been better placement of the descriptive placards by each of the paintings. Too often, you had to walk to the other end of the gallery wall to see the titles and artists' names for an entire set of works. Why? The video screen set ups for the murals were great, though. Great concept. Too bad the advertising for this exhibit is focused on Frida Kahlo; it has very little to do with her work. The exhibit was far-ranging and quite illustrative of a fascinating era of Mexican history which is probably completely unknown to by most of the U.S. By the way: have not seen billboard advertising for this show. In the past, other MFA exhibits have been showcased on area billboards. Also, no audio guides??? The museum shop staff was as rude and uninterested in shoppers as usual. The objects related to the Mexican Modernism exhibit were disappointing and there weren't even any relevant postcards. This was how the Philadelphia Museum of Art did it? The cafe was excellent with friendly, helpful staff.

I love going to Memorial Mall always have fun when I'm here with my child!!! But went to Mastercuts for a haircut they did a terrible job my hair now looks like it was all butchered by the Stylist Parnia I went to go make a complain about it Parnia was not there because she quit the same day I got my haircut so, I asked to get my money refunded plus the tip I gave the other stylist Louie Villarreal was a real piece of work really rude from the beginning I told him I wanted to make a complain to the manager which he told she wasn't there because it was her day off. I asked to please call her so he calls her and texts her and she calls back after 10 minutes I did speak to her she doesn't say anything to me after I explained what happen she speaks back to the rude stylist Louie Villarreal he hungs up the phone and just says the manager Anna Zetino said to come back on Monday 5 2017 when she will be there to sort this out I told him I can't keep coming back to the mall when is just so easy to refund my money right now!!! He threatened to call security to have me escorted out of the mall I was so furious I just told him to keep the money and shoved it where the sun don't shine and I threw all his papers and phone on the floor and walked out. I'll made sure to tell all the walking in customers they do a poor job at this place.

Very nice mall. Loved the selection of restaurants and retail stores. Almost everything you would need, a one stop shop. The ice skating rink and cleanliness of the mall sets it apart from all others. Although, I was looking for a map for about 20 mins before I realized the advertising screen on the wall was a touch screen navigation system. The navigation screens are awesome! You could get lost for several days in this mall. It is huge!

My wife and I arrived at the Foundation Room restaurant early so we went over to the bar. Everyone of the severs acknowledged us with a smile while doing their opening tasks. When our friends (that we had not seen in over 10 years) arrived we were escorted to our seats and were not rushed to order but left to our own pace. We had drinks, orders our meals and had a great time catching up. As we were about to finish we were offered tickets to the show "Def Legend". It was a great way to hang out and enjoy our selves. Thanks to the managements' leadership and to an awesome staff we were very pleased!
