The fee is approximately $57 USD or €51 Euros, or $70 USD or €63 Euros if you’d like us to send you a printed sewing pattern in the mail. These numbers are correct at the time of writing – please check an online currency converter if you’d like the exact price at current exchange rates.

That’s up to you! The course is broken down into manageable, bitesize lessons that you can take at a pace that suits you. It includes 13 succinct videos, from 4 to 25 minutes long each (we don’t include the boring bits, so you can get on with your sewing!), plus extra written tuition and downloadable resources. You may like to spread the lessons out over ten evenings, or set aside a weekend for a binge sewing session.

No deadline – you can go as fast or as slow as you like, and come back to the lessons whenever you want. Just log in to the site anytime you feel like a sewing fix!

We can’t promise “lifetime access”, you know, in case of a digital apocalypse or something, but we don’t plan to take the content down any time soon. If for any reason we do decide to take the workshop down in the future, we’ll give you a few months’ notice, so you’ll have plenty of time to finish it.

The workshop is suitable for people who have sewn at least a few things before and would like some guidance with the fiddlier aspects of sewing a shirt – from collars to buttonholes and creating neat topstitching.

This is a specially structured course developed by an experienced course designer. It takes you step-by-step through how to make a shirt, from start to finish, covering all the fiddly techniques, from constructing collars to topstitching. It’s like attending a sewing class, but it’s cheaper and you can do it from home!

The PDF version of the Rosa sewing pattern is included in the course materials for you to download, print and assemble at home immediately.

Factoring in processing and delivery, UK participants should receive their pattern in the post within 2 to 4 working days, EU participants within 5 – 10 working days, the rest of the world within 7 – 12 working days. (Sometimes international delivery can take longer depending on different countries’ post and customs service, so please be patient…)

There’s a discussion area in many of the lessons, where you can ask us questions, share photos of what you’re making, and chat to other enthusiastic stitchers. We’ll drop in every so often to answer questions and join in the discussion. If you’re having a technical issue accessing the class, you can email us and we’ll be happy to help.
